Very good video, our C6 has been replaced with an Arctic White 2023 3LT HTC with magnetic ride, performance exhaust, front lift, carbon flash painted top, nacelles, mirrors, wheels and other trim pieces. It is the best vehicle this 75yo has ever driven.

I'm 62, and have a C4 1990 white rag top. It's my 5th Vette. Had a 74 454 that did around 185 mph. So awesome to hear you're still driving AND it's still a Corvette! Good luck and all the best always!!!

How does the mid-engine make the car feel handling wise compared to your C6?

Corvette has for basically all of its life, been like driving a go cart in the real world. Made by the best car company, General Motors, in America, it will always be my favorite car, and should be for any car enthusiast forever. Corvette is the King. It, in my mind, always will be.

The Corvette has really set the standard for the entire industry basically since its inception!

Good I am familiar with every generation of Corvette or I would be totally confused at some of the transitions showing the wrong car and engine. 😅

The NPP performance exhaust was optional on the 2008 C6 when they went to the 6.2 liter engine. It added 6 hp and a much better sound. It opened the exhaust somewhat when the engine reached 3,500 rpm’s and the throttle was at least 1/2 way open automatically. Adding the after market “mild to wild” wireless switch gave you manual control so it would operate normally or be open all the time.

The 84 Corvette with the miss fire, I mean crossfire. Worst car I ever owned.
