The siren was to scare people on the ground not tell the pilots to slow down. In real life they don’t turn on at a certain speed you just flip a switch, granted it needs the speed to make the noise, but the acts not why it’s there
@@jbrad2529 The siren doesn't come on with a switch, it's literally just the noise produced by those tiny undriven "propeller" blades on the landing gear. Stuka pilots used to complain because sometimes the siren would even come on just while cruising, which can obviously be pretty distracting for the pilot. Later model stukas had the sirens removed.

irl they did deploy those, they're called dive breaks and are used to get out of a dive and also automatically pulls the stuka back up to horizontal level incase the pilot blacks out from g-forces
@@yoonseongdo3303 On the stuka they are automatically deployed in case a pilot is knocked out by G forces or AA fire to attempt to pull the plane back up, when you dive you're supppsed to cut throttle to zero so the only weight of the plane and gravity pulls you down and you throttle as you start to level to gain altitide quickly

You also need to go at least 400 kmh+ for the sirens to kick in. Don't tell anyone but it buffs the Stuka Pilot's ability to cause panic in the enemy's ranks by dropping a 500kg on top of their head with the siren on.
Well if you look in the cockpit, it tells you. Well it's in German but I'm assuming it says the speed you have to be at for the noise to work, 500km/s. and you only went like 320km/s

only the Ju87 B-2 has the sirens, all other variants won't make the sound. Could also be that you have your own engine sound muted in settings

You are diving wrong, you have to do like vertically down, airbrakes throttle down, then you drop and pullup at like 50 meters.

Its meant for 85⁰ to 90⁰ degree dives
