I've had some problems using these tapes. I have the blue one. I'm using Ammo acrylics and when this tape is used it almost everytime takes some paint with it from underneath, paint that was already dry for 24 hours. I am not sure if it's the paint that is too weak or the tapes that are too strong. I am applying the paints correctrly following the advice from Mig, using many thin coats every 3 or 5 minutes, I am now afraid of using tapes over these paints and I think it would be a pain to have to put a varnish coat over every step just to mask something. What can it be?
Degrease the model surface prior to painting. Use Mr. Surfacer as a primer and Tamiya acrylics or AK Real color thinned with Mr. Leveling thinner as paint. Works like a charm, no need to lay down 666 layers and takes masking tape well.
Muy interesante MIG no conocía este producto gracias .
haber si mi tienda en Valencia me lo consigue un saludo .
Looks like nice tape, I'm going to have to try some out.
