You guys need to show them how to interact in the ball game. Jason, get Mary Carl active in chasing & kicking the ball like it’s an active soccer game. Honey & Jessi are smart but they haven’t got the concept of having fun yet.

No ball takers. Drats. M & M definitely need a little fly spray in that tall grass. Also I think the goats were scared of the big ol ball fly’n over their heads. Babies need a little ball & a jungle gym to play on. Even 3 pallets put together for a bridge and a few runner strips for traction. Enrichment is so important!

All the animals are content. Then there’s Jesse! She’s the cheerleader of the group ❤
Jessie and Honey need stimulation both mental and physical. I keep suggesting to Jason to give them toys lots of toys. But he’s afraid they’ll hurt themselves. I even send Jason videos of Bonkeys/young donkeys playing with toys. I’ve owned a lot of equines including Bonkeys.
JSYK: I’m a 70 yr old Retired Child Psychologist and Equine Trainer. Maybe Jason will read my recommendations on his Short of Jessie playing with the hose.

I loved seeing Jessy running her zoomies, those little legs were just a going ! These animals are well loved and looked after thanks to you two.
The boys need something to climb on. They sure are cute.
Jason already said getting Brooke on look out for two picnic tables.
The (little) boys will be in that pasture only 4 weeks or so, then back with the herd.
Being further away from the barn area, there is a risk of not being seen if they get hurt on tables.
Extra tables would be great for the herd pasture. More of them to share for less wear & tear on them.
@@carolynchadwick7867 True the plan is to Fix & Mix but for now be good if they had something beside smelling Moe & Joe. But refer back to even Jason saying “We might “ get a picnic table. Put in for Joe Moe & Boys. They can see those pastures from House at barn they got trees in way but maybe the camera have good view if they looking at it??

I love my birding groups, every one helps each other. We want everyone to have fun ,we celebrate when someone finds that special bird they’ve been looking for.

Thst was a fun morning! Spending time with sweet babies is a great way to start any day and of course Cog Hill Babies are the very best! M&M are loving but their size can be problematic, especially when they want to be in your lap. Moody is definitely a Gentle Giant. All creatures on Cog Hill are beloved - except snakes, of course. Everyone that resides on the '40' are so compatible and loving. It's a uniquely blended and happy family.

If you take most of the air out of that ball they can carry it around-they also enjoy it that way. That’s what this donkey rescue channel does and they have a really great time-mostly playing keep away! ❤ They also have fun with plastic buckets?!

Jason & Brook take such good care of their animals! I get teased by my,friends for freezing water bottles for my wild birds water,living in Az. the water get’s too,warm and they love cool water. They have certainly raised the bar for animal care. I had to leave one homesteader because the lack of care, too hard to watch. Have learned a lot from Cog Hills Farm. Thank you for sharing.
