Just got one of these last weekend, ended up needing to leave early there so did the minimal required before packing it up to leave the Gundam Base Mobile. The irritating hollow space is the back of the rifle.
Used some of the gundam markers rather than the stickers there and upgraded the rifle scope with it to add some paint to get it in yellow there along with the part of the back skirts

I got this kit during a Gunpla model event recently. It was my first time building a Gunpla, and it was fun. I had to finish it at home unfortunately, and the tiny red plastic piece on the head broke when i was trying to take it out. That was a sad moment for a first build. Nevertheless, it was still fun.
