Great job on the court and even better job on the video. It's one thing to do all that but it's another to capture all the angles and moments so nicely and put it together like that. Looks awesome and the colors are great
Love it Ed!!!! Thanks for taking us with you on this journey. The green paint application was so satisfying to watch lol. And it’s right off your patio door also. Just amazing!!!
Great vid! Hoping one day I get the resources to get an abandoned warehouse to make an indoor badminton/pickleball court myself haha. Cant wait to see the videos made on this court!
Beautiful! I love that area; got a drone stuck in a palm tree in La Quinta a few years ago, and it took a week and a new invention to get out 🙂 Enjoy the court!
super stoked for you Ed. Podding must really pay well. Chris did the same thing. You did all the right things, but the extra money will be worth it in the end. Maybe a write off for your business.
Nice video. I had my court put in last summer and it's been great. Also, love your color choices. I always tell people to pick colors that match the environment the court will be in and you did exactly that. My court also has a solid green playing area but with a gray OOB as I have a gray metal fence around my property. People ask me all the time why I didn't paint the NVZ a different color as they are so accustomed to it. The reality is that the color, or number of colors used, matters almost zero in regards to actual game play (within reason of course).
I have been thinking about replacing the lawn I have to cut in my backyard with a pickleball court. It would be a win-win for sure! Thanks for sharing this helpful video, although I'm wondering why you didn't paint the kitchen a different color?
I live in Palm Desert looking for a recommendation, what company did you use to build the court? The end result looks amazing and I would love to put a court in my backyard.
Awesome video, and congrats on the court, it looks incredible! Not sure if you mentioned this somewhere, but how did you decide what color to use for the court? 🙂
Ed, just wondering whether you considered the PickleRoll for the top surface? It’s what Arizona Pickle Ball at the Orchard uses. If not, why not? Congrats on your new court-so happy for you guys!!
I did! Weirdly enough, it was more expensive than getting traditional court paint- the notion being that you can roll it back up and rent it out. I am getting some installed inside our dining room though (longer story there) 😂
Don’t listen to the negative comments about your neighbours. We all have to tolerate our neighbours’ outside daytime noises, whether it’s loud screaming and talking, loud music, power tools, construction noise, ATVs, motorcycles, barking dogs, etc., etc. That’s part of life when you own a house in a tightly constructed neighbourhood. I’d rather hear people playing pickleball than dogs barking, kids shrieking, or loud music. They’ll be fine!
I am a single , middle aged woman who would love to stay near you and take a week’s pb bootcamp with you . I can’t afford the fancy resorts for learning but I am keen!
I prefer to have the kitchen in different color than the main court for better visual when playing. Also, we used post tension exclusively in Texas on house building so if the slab breaks causing crack in house walls, the slab could be repaired and for the sport court, it’s overdone as rebar is good enough.
Great job on the court and even better job on the video. It's one thing to do all that but it's another to capture all the angles and moments so nicely and put it together like that. Looks awesome and the colors are great
living the dream, thanks for sharing the process and costs
Cool. Those guys are wizards with a squeegee!

Most anticipated video of the year. Congrats Ed 🎉
Man, you really love Pickle Ball!!!!!
Great job choosing PT slab and not rebar with joints. Well Done 👏
Dream come true- Happy for you!!!
THIS is the video I have been wanting to see!
Yep!
I'm saving the link so I will have this info when I build my court!
Awesome Ed! Best of luck to you!
Dreams do come true! Looking forward to seeing training videos using the Titan Pickelball machine.

Amazing!! Keep up with the great content!
Super cool!
This is awesome and the court looks sick!
Looks lovely. Congratulations. You need some lights for nighttime play.
If the noise at night doesn't annoy your neighbors the bright lights probably would. But hey they can always move.
wow congratulations!
Great video Ed. Glad you are doing well down there.
Really nice, and I like how you chose just one color green color scheme.
Always fantastic content. Great video!
So excited for you.

Looks fantastic 🏓👏👏👏Looking forward to your posts 😊
So sick congrats!!
Congras guy, followed & learned alot from you. Keep moving on!!
I'm jealous in a good way!! I have a large backyard that I could fit 3 courts in easily, so definitely getting one built eventually.
Love the pun at the end! EdJucational conent
That’s so cool good work
Super happy for you. I have a court…..it is so nice!
This is awesome 👏
Pro! Nice court! Hope your neighbors don't complain about the noise 😂
Looks good Ed.
Have been following your journey for quite some time! Ya love to see it! Looks dope!
So sick, congrats man
Wow, impressive!
I’m soooo jealous 😍😍😍
Great video. Thanks. Which PB net did you select?
He has the net from C&D Pickleball Nets. Best nets out there by far.

Congrats bro!!
That court is beautiful
Great video ed!

Awesome video, and congrats on the court, it looks incredible! Not sure if you mentioned this somewhere, but how did you decide what color to use for the court? 🙂
Maggie was the mastermind. Wanted something classic and blended well with the landscape!
Love it 😍😍😍
I want it! l love it!
Very informative! One thing - the slab. What material did you use? Is the slab wood?
Oh snap I live in Cathedral City! Welcome to the desert my friend maybe I'll run into you somewhere lol
Hey you might want to get a temporary shade or cover for your window that's by the court, just in case someone hits the ball way off.
Need to build lights for nighttime, daytime is hot😊
This awesome! We are putting a court in our backyard next month! What did your neighbors think?
Ed, just wondering whether you considered the PickleRoll for the top surface? It’s what Arizona Pickle Ball at the Orchard uses. If not, why not? Congrats on your new court-so happy for you guys!!

I hope your neighbors won’t hate you
Don't they make some type of pickleball that has less noise? could try that I guess..
I hope not! They seemed to enjoy it when they came to play :-)
Owl paddles
Omg, your poor neighbors
They will eventually
What is the background music that you used? It was the perfect vibe for this video!
Cosmonkey! Music from artist.io
Thanks for the video! Can you share the company you used?
Congratulations
Congrats on the beautiful court!
Does anyone know the song from 0:00-0:57?
That look amazing .. what is total cost you to build this ??
Good job, bro 👏 Which state do you live in?
As you much as you spend time and Money hope you have great time and make more money with it in the future!! Gteat job
Your poor neighbors - the sound of the pickleball being hit must drive them nuts - LOL
So cool! When can I come over? 😂
How did you angle the 1 degree slope? Is it from the center to the side or to the front and back of the court? Planning to construct one also. Thanks.
I would love to get some lessons! How can I set that up? About an hour away from La Quinta.
Shoot me a DM on IG! I’ll get ya set up.
It must have been a long 28 days waiting for the concrete to cure!
Perhaps good timing? It was way too hot to play outside anyways so it wasn’t as much of a tease as I thought it’d be
@@edjupickleball how does your neighbors feel about this
Nice! You moved to the desert, is there anyone to play with out there LOL :)
In the season, I hear lots. In the summer, we’re all slowly melting and hiding inside 😂
Nice!! Don’t forget to write it off as a business expense! :)
I guess moving is now out of the question!🤣
all i need is a slab. i can paint it myself with a rattlecan and use a portable net and its plenty. then i can also use it for basketball
How much did YOU pay in yours? I want to have it exactly the same way you have it. (Counting the nets and the rest)
The thing I care the most is the noise... will it disturb the neighbors?
I need one

Love that idea!
Beautiful court, but you talked me out of ever trying this.
I prefer to have the kitchen in different color than the main court for better visual when playing. Very cool build. Your poor neighbors.
Hey! Jaume V !
W
Disappointed you didn't use the "28 Days Later" film logo for that part haha
What was the cost of surfacing for your court?
Surfacing for mine was about 6k
why do you have the kitchen the same color paint??
I think it looks cleaner this way, just a personal preference!
I came here to say first but looks like I'm the 14th xD...
looks great! now dont go breaking that window!
Is that the Selkirk Semi Permanent net
The net is by C&D Pickleball Nets. Much better than the Selkirk net.
