Starting to catch up to you with the number of gadgets on the kayak after my Power Pole install! Next up is underwater lights and a big screen for football season.
Absolutely beautiful setup I wouldn’t expect less from the industries best real talk! I’ve been following/watching from the start taking notes I recommend everyone watching does the same
I got my first kayak, with few accessories, also a fish finder garmin 4cv, with 20 mt transducer. Carbon fiber paddle, got a transducer mount with fish finder bracket, few waterproof bags, anchor trolley, water proof suit one light other one for more heavy weather. Kayak dolly cart, weight measurement tool, PFD. etc n I've spend around $800 also got some stuff for camping, like stove, gas adapter, stainless steel appliances for camping, u know all the good stuff. All around $800 with a kayak n peddle. Yes I did got a great deal on the kayak only $220 lifetime Yukon new. N I thought I'm spending to much money on all of that. I. On the very low budget. Sure I hot some what budget things but it will work for me. Good luck to everyone, God bless us all.
That’s what’s awesome about kayak fishing, you can make it watcha want! This is the absolute extreme and I only have it because I work with great sponsors. Most the time, especially lately, I’ve been using an inflatable kayak with a couple rods!
That's intense bro. I totally understand how you can get that deep in it. I'm at a 3rd of that and have people stop and talk to me about my rig. I'm just fun fishing so I gotta cut it off at some point.
I’m looking to put a fish finder on my kayak. I have the ascend 12T with yak power. Just trying to look for an affordable and not too fancy one. I watch your videos and you definitely are decked out! Nice videos. Looking forward to getting back out there this season. If you are looking for someone to fish with in Buffalo let me know. Also if you have any suggestions on an affordable fish finder that’s decent quality let me know. Thanks!
Awesome layout and thanks for sharing it with us. BTW, don't you just love NY and how they make you register the yak as soon as you update to a "motor" and not under human power.
How do you like the plug in cart? Is the kayak fairly easy unloading and loading in the back of your truck? About to pick a hobie up and wasn’t sure if a trailer was needed or not. Thanks!
I will say that this is a bit much for me. I would have a hard time navigating through all of this on my yak. But however, when your fishing tournmanets a lot of thise is a major advantage and some of it necessary. Still an awesome setup.
I’m not sure if you’ve touched up on this (and, I haven’t seen any other RUclips folks that has), but as someone just getting back into fishing (a born-again angler I say) & looking into getting a kayak instead of an aluminum boat, what’s the key difference in having a longer yak opposed to a shorter one? I have been fishing off my 10’ and 12’ iSUP (with an Engle cooler that has the rod holder), along with an anchor. Same width. I find that the 12 I can cover area quicker. But the 10 is way easier to maneuver. Stability wise, I have yet to tell. I’m wondering if this same thing translate to a kayak length.
@@BEtheFish great point! I think the bow mount motor on my native titan has a negative impact in rough water conditions. Lots of water over the bow and native scupper design sucks. Really want a hobie but the kayak ain’t going to catch me more/larger fish. So water logged feet it is and keep trying to grown as an angler.
Double monitors? Nothing like saying I’m cooler than you. Lol. Every man’s dream kayak! I’ll subscribe to help offset the cost of that setup. You’re welcome. 😂
Haha I can assure you that is NOT why I have two graphs. I work for Humminbird and have some great partners like Bass Fishin Electronics. I would NOT have this setup if I was paying for it. But showing folks what you’re capable of doing with a kayak. Have a good one 👊🏻
@@BEtheFish You’re good, I was just being a smart ass. Lol. I know sometimes it’s hard to tell if someone is trolling, but that’s not what I was doing. Happy I found your channel. I’m borderline addicted to kayak fishing content, so thanks for contributing to my problem. 😂
I’m actually fortunate to be working with some great companies. But yes, rigging out my kayak means I have zero brains 😂 appreciate your ignorant and negative for no reason comment, thanks for the engagement 😁
You may think it’s a waste, although I enjoy it. But I appreciate your negative unnecessary comment. A decent fishing boat that doesn’t break down every other week is going to run you around $15-20k, plus maintenance, plus trailer maintenance, plus registration for boat and trailer, plus gas to fill up the boat. Over time, it’s much cheaper. As I said in this video, this is very high end of the spectrum, I rarely have it set up this way. Simply showing what is capable. Hope you decide to be more positive and curious next time instead of negative when commenting on someone’s page.

Good Luck bro! having too much is better than having not enough!

That’s an awesome set up! Thanks for the walk through.
Yessir!

I hear that, man! I wouldn’t be here if I paid for these. But I like gadgets and they’re fun when they show me aspects of fishing I never knew about
Wicked cool setup!
You know it!
Clean brotha 🔥
Looks great
Thanks!

What’s your budget for a fishfinder?
Garmin Striker 4 Plus with Yakattack Nocqua 10amp battery
Probably wouldn’t spend more than 200 or 300 on the fish finder
Nice rig!
Thanks!

It’s ridiculous
Most all states require that.
@@geraldlair2888 NY just sucks ahah
I've been lookin and the old town w spot lock looks like the way to go. 4800 plus electronics.
It’s not a bad option
Morgan marine is awesome, they tricked out my Jackson blue sky
They’re the deal!
Great looking set up! Looks like only thing you don’t have is a Torqeedo or a TM
Haha if you watch the whole video you’ll see the Torqeedo on the back I talk about 😂
@@BEtheFish sorry I did miss about 4 mins of the video. I thought you had one in your last tournament video.
@@lancemabry6707 haha all good! Yessir I did
i went with the nk180pro 3hp from newport vessels
I have one I’m putting on as we speak! This year’s setup is even crazier

Super easy

@@rustycompassadventures thanks man, and I totally hear you! Just showing what’s capable. Fun fishing wise I’m mostly going bare bones
@@BEtheFish the Pro Anglers are an amazing platform. Which is why I chose it as my platform. The amount of add-on’s to these kayaks is endless.

I’m wondering if this same thing translate to a kayak length.
Longer the kayak typically the better it tracks. And more room for storage of course.
@@BEtheFish got it. Essentially, similar to how a SUP would work. Thank you
To each their own. I’m up to around$6500 myself so far
I certainly wouldn’t have all this if I was buying it! I have some amazing partners. Just showing what’s capable is all.
Me thinking a 5k yak is a lot my boy got the Ferrari
Haha oops😂
Got to ask since you are such an off shore guy why didn’t you go bow mount with spot lock? I know the stern motor is Slightly quicker
Great question - I don’t want that much weight in the front, especially in tougher conditions. But may look into it eventually!
@@BEtheFish great point! I think the bow mount motor on my native titan has a negative impact in rough water conditions. Lots of water over the bow and native scupper design sucks. "I've spent most of my money on fishing. The rest I've wasted" - anonymous 😂
hahahaha
What’s the bracket under your right rudder handle ?
That’s to steer the torqeedo
What size are the ram mounts?
I wanna say 1.5”
You need power poles
Haha facts! Only thing missing
That kayak has too weigh a ton. Pretty sick setup though!
Definitely heavy! Hence the wheels haha. Still can pedal 4.5-4.8mph decent!

It adds up fast haha

You fishing chick right now? That’s my home lake
No sir
Oh nevermind you have one!
Haha
Sounds like you’re a photographer instead of a fisherman.
Yes… I just take photos. I don’t have a whole library of fishing videos LOL.
There's no kayak worth that amount!
Well…I enjoy it😁
Hobie is not a better kayak, Old Town is.
Appreciate your take on it! Why is that? I’m curious your reasoning.
@BEtheFish Because I've owned both, and I sold my Hobie after the third use. Rigidity, material, stableness, value, instant reverse, etc..
@@leo-js2tb hey I respect it! That autopilot is sweet for how I fish with spotlock but each angler is different. Those sportsman’s are quick!
What a waste of money, you could buy a decent fishing boat for that...

Just get a bass boat.
Eventually I will. But I enjoy this, don’t pay gas or maintenance, no trailer and have great partners that make this super affordable.
