Greg needs a new or certified pre-owned Mercedes-Benz by visiting his local Mercedes dealer. Now, I bet that classic car now costs as much as a brand new Mercedes-Benz. Good show!

I saw this episode in 1972 when '56 Chevy's were cheap enough for the kids to afford. I remember my dad selling his '57 Chevy to a kid for 250 bucks in 1968.
@@bigbubba29 My dad's '57 Bel Air was still mint in 1968 a 4 door hardtop he bought new. In the '60's the tri five Chevy's were cheap. 10 years later he bought me the same car for a 1000 bucks i kept it for awhile & sold it for $1,700. I told him he should've kept his '57. They started going up in value in the mid to late '70's.
The car looks like a classic. Greg got a good deal for $100. Cars like that are made for car shows, not for transportation. He might get tens, or hundreds, of thousands for it.
Not in 1972 it was just an old Chevy that kids could buy cheap. My dad sold his mint '57 Chevy Bel Air to a kid for $250 in 1968 & I was there when the kid bought it. Why not drive it ? It's a car & cars are made to be driven for transportation & not to be displayed at a car show or museum...that's a waste of a car. In 2014 I had a '56 Bel Air convertible it cost me a fortune but so what I drove the hell out of it to get my money's worth. Driving it is 90% of the fun...live life. I don't get some people who worship these classics. It's just a car.
100 bucks is laughable now but in the '60's & 70's when this episode aired in '72 the '56 Chevy's were cheap. In 1968 my dad sold his mint '57 Bel Air for $250. Unless you were there like I was at that time it's probably hard to believe but it was that way back then.
Ward Cleaver once said, "If Wally actually succeeds in getting that junk car running, it will be the greatest automotive achievement since the spare tire." And he was right in predicting that he would not succeed.
Ah, Greg's first painful lesson in being screwed over by a so-called friend. Proves that even excellent parents can't stop their growing children from making impulsive decisions that end in disappointment.
“Greg said he was really going to covet the guy’s erupter!”😂😂😂😂
Mike's white belt, though!! 😂😂
Awww; that reminds me that my dad had a white belt in the 70’s. And my uncle had white shoes.
i think its cute too;-)
“Some friend that Eddie”😂😂
That Eddie was a crook!
He also tried to steal Greg's football playbook..( Jerry Rogers)
God I loved this show😂❤️
Magen movie it's taking over
Classic Brady Bunch, gotta Love 💕 it.
Greg brought home a lemon. And the engine sounded more like a jackhammer than a flock of geese.
Barry doing his own stunt work getting in the car.
One of my favourite eps.

In today's economy, I certainly don't doubt that
I remember the part with the car from many years ago. The car didn't work so great. It had a few problems.

@@carlrudd1858 I think the show is a great show I love everything about the show
His family really cares about him!
Greg's always been my favourite Brady ❤
56 Chevy convertible. What a car! Greg was right.
It looks like a ‘56 Chevy. If you could get a ‘56 convertible for a 100$ nowadays it’d be a jackpot.
Wonder if it was Eddie Haskell?
He took advantage of thCleaver’s
@3:38 it sounded like Carol said: “What a fucking mess!”
Bwahahaha it does XD.
@@NichOlsonSmooth No, Carol said "What's causing that?" Read the transcript below the video. Read it and weep, LOL!
it actually happened at 3:36, but okay

Was your dads car in good shape?

Mike says it’s the safest car there is because it doesn’t run. 😂
Greg had to over hawl
The whole car😅🎉
The parents were in shock! But it worked out!sort, of!

Are you okay..??
Greg probably bought his Grandpa Brady's old car lol.
A hundred bucks for a car. Those were the days
And a worthwhile car at that.
what would 100$ be now? what with inflation an all
@@marc44444$ 746.34 According to the inflation calculator
@@marc44444 Two candy bars.
I remember this episode.
Greg should have just put it on blocks in the garage and came back in 2024 to claim it.
Imagine what the car would be worth today
I got it one piece at a time, and it didn't cost me a dime.
1956 chevy convertable,100 bucks lol, would worth alot more now.

Greg's car was smoking.
I bet that Barry could afford a great car considering what he makes filming The Brady Bunch.
A lemon!
2:26 what's worse the way they dress the beautiful Cindy as a boy or Mike's white belt LOL
They look great. It was what people wore in 1971.
I know what’s wrong with it…. it ain’t got no gas in it !
Just a fancy way of saying the car has gas in it LOL.

Not at all. Great episode and great life lessons... Great acting by Barry here as well. Good TV..
Not at all....what ? What is it that
you're disputing ?
100 $ couldn't buy a used tire today
Not good, Greggy!
Mike brady always needs his oil changed
So, if he were to pick up a girl for a date, how would she get into the car? Especially if she wore a dress.
