  • This video is of two separate trips to the same body of water. The first ended abruptly with a close call when my boat tipped over and we went for a swim. We were in the water for a bit. We had a moment where were thinking that this might be it, but we lucked out and made it back to shore ok. The first trip we got into numbers. The second trip didn't have the same action, but every fish was big. Overall, we had fun both times even with the unexpected swim time. Thanks for tagging along on another episode of adventure time. Like and subscribe for good karma 😁

That lake kicks out some big rainbows. There's actually some in there that quite a bit bigger than anything we caught.

Is your Flycraft boat 46" or 56" inches wide? I'm doing some pre-purchase research on fishing rafts and your story here is very interesting.

It's starting to melt off at the Ladders. The rest is still several weeks away until its starts coming off

That's for sure. You never know. That was the first time I've ever dumped the flycraft.

I'm glad things didn't go any worse. You looked like a half drown shaking chihuahua when I first got to you once you made it to shore. Pretty scary stuff. It gave the rest of us at the lake a moment to pause and think about how quickly things can go south sometimes.

No doubt. You always hear the stories and think it will never happen to you. It was an eye opener.

We certainly lucked out with the gear. We could have fared far worse.

Glad you were ok. Not swimming to shore probably saved your life. People cramp and drown all the time trying that in freezing water

Yeah, not leaving the boat was a good idea. I could see my fly rods bobbing around 10 ft away. I considered trying to get them but figured they weren't worth my life. Luckily Reagan went back out and recovered them.
