- This video is of two separate trips to the same body of water. The first ended abruptly with a close call when my boat tipped over and we went for a swim. We were in the water for a bit. We had a moment where were thinking that this might be it, but we lucked out and made it back to shore ok. The first trip we got into numbers. The second trip didn't have the same action, but every fish was big. Overall, we had fun both times even with the unexpected swim time. Thanks for tagging along on another episode of adventure time. Like and subscribe for good karma 😁
Awesome fishing trip on a beautiful day and nice water too with few beauties in the net. Thanks for the trip, tight lines and greetings to all,, Tony.
That lake kicks out some big rainbows. There's actually some in there that quite a bit bigger than anything we caught.
Is your Flycraft boat 46" or 56" inches wide? I'm doing some pre-purchase research on fishing rafts and your story here is very interesting.
Nice! I love the next scene where you guys are wearing your life jackets! :)
Yep, It was a learning lesson.
Do you think this week we might see a little ice off at strawberry?
It's starting to melt off at the Ladders. The rest is still several weeks away until its starts coming off
damn brother never underestimate the unforgiving water. glad you came out on top.
That's for sure. You never know. That was the first time I've ever dumped the flycraft.
I'm glad things didn't go any worse. You looked like a half drown shaking chihuahua when I first got to you once you made it to shore. Pretty scary stuff. It gave the rest of us at the lake a moment to pause and think about how quickly things can go south sometimes.
No doubt. You always hear the stories and think it will never happen to you. It was an eye opener.
Dude, that is so lucky you guys made it back and even more lucky you didnt lose any gear!!
Yep, the man upstairs was looking out for us 😁
Dang. Glad you made it out of that mess. Even better that you got to keep your gear!
Those were some tubby bows too.
We certainly lucked out with the gear. We could have fared far worse.
Was actually on the lake the day you tipped my i pulled up to the dam. My buddy troy said someone was yelling help glad you made it out safe we were in my truck when all that went down.
We lucked out for sure. The outcome could have been less favorable 😨
Dang! Crazy stuff! 😮
It was sketchy stuff this time around 😮
😮 Close call brother! Glad you are fishing and not a fish.
Haha, I'm glad as well Tim. My ten faithful viewers would have been disappointed 😅
Glad you were ok. Not swimming to shore probably saved your life. People cramp and drown all the time trying that in freezing water
Yeah, not leaving the boat was a good idea. I could see my fly rods bobbing around 10 ft away. I considered trying to get them but figured they weren't worth my life. Luckily Reagan went back out and recovered them.
I bet that water was pretty chilly
Ohhh it was chilly alright.
Trout hauler snd Dan Ragen can go .. I'm with Tess!
Are you saying you wouldn't want to go swimming with Reagan and I haha 😁
