    Modern Jive is the easiest of all the partner dances to learn as there is no complicated footwork and it can be danced to all genres of music from Sheeran to Sinatra.
    Individual moves are broken down for absolute beginners to have a go and when you have the basic moves under your belt, try putting them together in these routines. The beauty about Modern Jive is you can do the moves in any order you want to and even repeat a move if necessary but we know if you are brand new to Modern Jive then it is nice to have some sample routines to try.

    What about that music !?
    In my opinion it might be so much more fitting to have some jive playing

      Hi Jeff, Thanks for the note, glad you found the video helpful. With regard to music, for copyright reasons we can't use original recording artists or the video runs the risk of being blocked then unfortunately no-one will see it, That being said the track is perfectly modern jiveable, just an unknown artist. The videos really are a reminder for our beginner dancers and with 7 decades of music to choose from you can play your favourite at home to practise too. What artists do you like to dance to?
