Nice take to put the Peterbilt on chase! I guess both Cary Loftin as well as the in-movie truck driver would have quite enjoyed that challenging ride and all those new trophy license plaquettes (okay, as far as the other cars even had plates) to collect later and add them to the bumper rail collection :)

Carey Loftin drove the truck during all the scenes ......he was the best stuntman at the time and nobody else could drive that truck like he could.
@@willwozniak2826 I know, he certainly was! With "in-movie truck driver" I mean his (nameless) character, the character "truck driver" in the movie :) This character, unless David Mann (played by Dennis Weaver), apparently never got a name. But I'm sure he would've loved this ride, both the RL stuntman Carey Loftin and his character!
