How to Replace a Maytag® Microwave Filter

Replacing your over-the-range microwave filter is a lot easier than you may suspect. We recommend replacing your microwave filter every six months to prevent grease and odor build-up in your kitchen.
First, disconnect your microwave's power by unplugging it, and with a screwdriver, loosen the vent panel to access the filter. From there, you gently remove the filter and replace it with the new one. It's as easy as that!
