To prevent the burlap ribbon from becoming all twisted, twirl the cross around and around instead the ribbon. I learned this while making DT candy cane wreaths.

For me Easter is about the cross. I love how you took an ordinary object & used it in an unusual way. I was thinking after I watched your vid that you could add green moss over the ribbon if you were looking for a different look. I might try it. Thank you for the ideas! Blessings..Jen

Made something similar with cross wreath form. I also took the small round wreath form (2/ok), with thick yarn chugged that small wreath in the Ukrainian colors and attached to middle of wreath form. Did a small bow with small flower accent attached to center of small wreath. . Have it displayed on my foyer table to remember to pray for Ukraine.

Very nice video. I’ve noticed a lot of gals aren’t making their cross long enough. I just extend my wire rack down to make it abt 3” longer, so it looks like a real cross.

I can't think of the name of the tool at the moment. I really think they are called tin snips. I could be wrong. They were my husbands. I am not sure where he purchased them. Sorry I am not very helpful. I hope you had a wonderful Christmas.

The green ribbon is burlap with wire. I believe it is the 2.5 inch width. I didn't measure as I was wrapping the cross. I overlapped mine several times, but if you are careful and just barely let it overlap, your ribbon will go a lot further. I hope this helps. Thank you.

Sorry, I should have been more specific. The ribbon for the bow came from Dollar General. I got the green burlap ribbon at a local store that closed. You can get the burlap ribbon at Dollar Tree, Hobby Lobby and Michaels. I hope this helps. Thank you.

Can the cross wreath be put on the door outside
Sharon Chandler If it has some shelter from the weather it will probably be okay. If the bow gets wet, it will lose its shape. I am planning on making another one this week. I am going to make it out of deco mesh. The deco mesh holds up a lot better than the ribbon I used on this one. I am leaving the one I made today inside, but the deco mesh one will be on my front door outside. I hope this helps. Thank you

teri doty You can do it. Buy ribbon with wire that is a solid color. Dollar Tree ribbon isn’t very thick, so it can be trickier to tie a pretty bow. Michael’s or Hobby Lobby ribbon is a little thicker. I prefer to work with it. Just go back and forth keeping your center pinched tight and loops about the same size. I like 20 gauge floral stem wire to secure the center. Let me know if you have any questions. I have a few bow tutorials on my channel. Thank you ❤️

I think it came from Dollar Tree, if not it came from a small boutique that was going out of business.
