I first wondered why the wheels on the log deck, then I saw you turn a log, good idea to help with turning. This winter I hope to set up my Meadows mil and have been watching videos for pointers. Thanks for video!

Nice setup just found your channel. I like the flip up for the log deck great idea. I got mine running right up to the carriage about 6 in away and bump my knees on it constantly. I have a channel I do a little sawmilling . Well keep making sawdust thanks for sharing.

Nice setup. Sawmills are dangerous ! The blade is more dangerous than the driveshaft. Be safe and pay attention. Please post more sawmill videos

Nice!! I am not a safety nut, but one thing you may consider is putting a slip point using belts from that tranny to the arbor shaft. Will protect you as the sawyer, the blade, and the arbor for that 1 time the saw sticks in a log. Belts aren't cheap, but cheaper than replacing the other stuff.

Could you share any details about how the generator is wired to the conveyor? Can the generator power the conveyor directly or does it go through a battery?

Have an old wards saw. Had mine set up with the same kind of elevator for the dust. Had to get an automated band mill. Those larger oak logs were killing my back with the cant hook. They're still bullet proof.
