Even my 1000 dollars diamond stud earrings ive had for 10 years now does dull, but get some jewelry cleaning stuff or honestly take an old toothbrush and give them a little brush! Also i had cubic zirconia that looked dull and i took it to get a gem that fell out and they obviously did work on just the one gem that was missing but when they returned it the whole ring look brandnew because they cleaned and polished my ring! :)
Very helpful review! For the sapphires, maybe look into having your earrings steam cleaned. My engagement ring is sapphire and I periodically take it back to the store it came from to get it steamed, and I'm always blown away by how sparkly it is afterwards. I'm not sure what a service like that would cost (it's free for my engagement ring), but might be worth a try!
I discovered Mejuri when I watched your earlier video and I purchased a few items online. I’m currently in Toronto (my home town) and there is a store in Toronto downtown. I might make a visit to the store to see their items in person. My experience with the pieces I bought (they are all 14 carat gold) is that they have worn well and show minimal wear. And I totally agree that investing where possible in solid gold is better in the long term.
