You should not allow a police officer not in uniform to arrest you. How do you differentiate him from a thief pretending to be a police officer. Its either he produces his identification or go and come with a uniformed police officer with a bunch to arrest you. Its illegal for for those without uniforms to arrest you. I once met this young man along Langata road when he pretended to have fainted by the road side opposite WCK, I stopped the car and he lied to me that his brother told him to come to Nairobi and then he disappeared, I sympathised and gave him 2000/- to go back to Western. After sometime I was driving in Karen and met him again and asked him if he went home but he said he got a job in mjengo, little did I know that I was conned, though I did my part.
