This single handedly was the most USEFUL video for new esthetician’s wanting to strike out on their own! Thank you so much for your knowledge and in-depth reasoning 💖✨
I came here just to listen to her talk... She has the most calm and soothing voice, and a lovely accent!
xo;))
I’ve used and spent thousands on skincare products.....not until I found Nerida’s videos .....it was so simple and every thing she said make sense to me, so I started by just doing washing my face with my own gel cleanser...OMG, what a difference. I just bought Rejuvi products and throwing out all my current products. This line really works and yes, I see good results in just 3 days. Thank you Nerida!
Thank you. I am soooooo happy for you xoxox
Hi Nerida! I just went solo and I'm so excited to be using all of your informative videos and info to better my skills in my business.
Congratulations Mikki:)))))) fabulous news
Thank you Nerida Joy! I’m soon to be a license esthetician February 2020! Your videos are always helpful. Thank you for teaching all of us. ❤️
How exciting Valerie:))
I've switched to a non-foaming gel cleanser, use a retinol and moisturizer and my skin cleared up almost instantly! My acne/black heads have cleared and my pores have shrunk tenfold. Thank you for all your incredible advice, I hope one day I get to have a facial from you! Love from Boston xx
Wonderful news:)))) Thank you Lucy xo
Hi i have a queastion. What kind of retinol do u use?
@@silenthill2999 Hi! I use a perscription (which I know Nerida doesn't recommend but my dermatologist gave me the RX because my skin was that bad) that is 0.05%! There are a lot of great drugstore/OTC out there as well!
@@silenthill2999 Retinol serum or rejuvi a night gel:)
You are such a wonderful teacher... Thank you so so much!

Hello, Nerida! You’re the best esthetician I’ve come across on the internet. Thank you for the informative videos, you’ve really saved my skin and just my general information regarding skin care. G-d bless ❤️
Can you tell us the actual product lines for these recommendations?
Thank you so much for your informative videos , I am a beginner esthetician from Morocco 🇲🇦❤️

I’m a new esti and it would b amazing if u can get together a kit with the products you mentioned! Think about it! Please and thanks
I have different things on my site educateyourskin.com :)
Can you do a video on makeup brands to avoid and/or that are good for problematic skin?
I have talked a bunch about this in my videos. Mac, bobbie brown and Nars seem to be very comedogenic. Minerals Colorscience, La Bella Donna and Jane iredale are healing and GREAT!
I love it here! Ur so informative and genuine, I’m a esti student and this is super helpful💘
thank you:)ox
Nerida Joy hope your staying safe💞

Another great video!! Would you be open to doing a short video on why you don't like prescription retinol? People seem to be all about it lately and using it without a prescription. I have tried the 1% Retin A a few times and my skin just can't handle it. It always just takes my face too long to recover from the peeling and then of course I have to shelve all actives for a few weeks until my face get back to normal. At 40, I guess I'm always thinking I can do more in terms of anti-aging, but I have finally accepted that it's a marathon, not a sprint when it comes to retinols and I am sticking to my OTC retinol serums.
I have spoken about this many times in my videos.... its too strong. Most people cannot use retinol every night.... and stop using it altogether. Retinol has to be used to see results. Retinol (vit A) is toxic in strong forms and most people do not have enough fat in their body to absorb its toxicity:)
Awesome information! Thank you 🙏
Thank you:)
Nerida, I need to rant to someone who understands. I just received the worst facial of my life. This girl desperately needs your help. She didn’t say a single thing the entire facial. Didn’t mention at all what she was putting on my face. No warning before she blinded me with the maggy light or started extractions. She used a foaming cleanser and a gritty scrub. I told her I was sensitive to fragrances and she proceeded to use heavily fragranced products on my face. She left me with the steamer blasting on my face for 15 minutes without a word of explanation. I don’t even think she was in the room while I was getting steamed. She didn’t ask me a single question about what I’m currently using on my skin. Made exactly zero recommendations of what I should do at home. And didn’t mention sun protection at all. It was just all wrong!
Oh no....that sounds very upsetting to me too:(( So sorry your facial experience was fare from 5 star Madi. There are many wonderful Esties out there, don't give up:))ox
Madi Guith sounds like you either got a rookie esthi (never leave the room with a steamer on ) or a relaxation esthi. I would be curious if you were at a spa and if you in fact saw an esthi, and not a cosmetologist.
I myself worked at a spa where a good 80% of my clientele asked me to not speak during their services and refused to be recommended homecare. Perhaps the environment wasn’t conducive for treatment style facials. Sorry your experience was lacking.
Thank you so much for this!!☺❤❤
So thankful for the advice! Thank you Nerida!
Very helpful video.. Thank you for sharing..
Thank you Ranada:))ox
Thank you for this ammmmaaazibg gift!

Hi Nerida.... when I do a facial my order is cleanser then an enzyme mask (pumpkin with a tiny bit of papaya to calm it down) then instead with it on for 10 min then electric brush the enzyme, remove, then massage with a good oil that an oily skin can use as well then extractions, clean off oil then masque with maybe a hydrating serum or anti redness type serum underneath if needed then remove and toner and sunscreen done..... it sounds like you are doing multiple exfoliating things and also the serums you are using.... at what point in your facial are you using these and how.... under a mask? Just applying alone? Just trying to figure out your sequence and understand why.... I'm only a couple years into my esti career even though I've been a massage therapist for about 17 yrs so I'm still very open to learning technique but I always have to know why..... hoping you have time to reply to this.... thanks
If you watch my videos, Kelly, Daniella or Juliette you will see my product order and steps, even my Thuy video's are great. Actually, all my later model videos shows product name and steps:))))
Is there an updated list. I would like is what skincare line you would recommend
Thank you for mentioning, your eyes. I was feeling discouraged about going back into the industry because my eyes are not what they used to be 🤓
ox:))
Thank you!
I switched from a foaming cleanser to a hydrating cream cleanser and my face is even more oily than it was before and I am getting little pustules. I hope this is all just temporary. How often do you recommend using the Rejuvi exfoliating mask ?
If you are oily you should not use a hydrating cream cleanser, you should be using a non foaming gel. Use the exfoliating mask 2x week:)
Thank you Nerida, you're amazing and very inspirational!!!! I love your videos, I learn so much from them and I love Rejuvi products and use them in my beauty room. I've been using the K cleanser for couple of years now and always recommend to my clients. One of them asked me if it safe to use regularly as it contains Sodium Lureth Sulfate. A lot of people are concern now about the harsh chemicals in skincare and want to look for SLS, paraben free products. Do you know what is the percentage of it as it doesn't say on the packaging?
All the best, Kate :)
Why do prefer non- prescription retinol cream to a retin-a prescription cream, aside from being able to use the retinol nightly?
HotCocoaBangbang she does go into this in one of her videos...I can't remember which one, but it's something about her sister having huge health issues from an over dose of retinol... I'm probably not remembering it perfectly at all, but I think she thinks it's a little dangerous in prescription doses.
Please email my office to ask what videos.... i talk about this a bunch and explain there educateyourskin.com Vitamin A is toxic ..easily absorbed into the blood stream.... (for starters)
Can you do a video on back acne please? Xx
accutane 😂 mine was sooooooooo bad and my face and it cleared me up completely. haven’t had a pimple since
Love this video!🥰 can you make a video about brands that you like?
As a esthetician, she uses specific products line to treat clients. There are so many products in the market place, I don’t think she would have time. She believe in Rejuvi because it has proven to work and gives great results.
Do you sell a product line for purchase of these suggested products.😀
This is awesome! I’m trying to find out if this line is animal cruelty free? I have a lot of clients who ask these types of questions.
Do you know a sunblock of moisturizer with spf 50 for people that have tsn skin to all shades of black? Because they usually leave a whitecast eventhough the package says it does not. I tried asian and k beauty spf things and Ionly found 1 or 2 but then it doean't re-apply well or it melts off your face in a white cream when you are sweating. I truely wonder what non-white people use.
Maybe you have a hood spf 50 tip for me?
Yes:))
@@zeynand4039 La Bella donna minerals spf50 are for all shades:))
By the way excuse me for all the type mistakes. I have a nerve issue with my hands so sometimes that's my very best. And thanks for the recommendation Nerida Joy, I truely appreciate it!

When u said u make sure your skin is never dry to touch during the day are you using hydrating mists think some people have done diy hydrating mists do u think it's necessaryxx
No Hydrating mist. I layer in the AM and i am good for the day:))
Love your videos and especially the way you educate us about skin. I know you use a lot of rejuvi products, but I noticed a number of them (especially masks) have methyl parabens in them. What paraben and phthalate free brand would you recommend?
Olovoll they actually remove most of the paraben from their product. I notice on Dermstore the ingredients list weren’t updated
Anthony Nguyen Thank you! That’s very helpful to know.
Thank u much needed nerida❤

If you get acne and have oily skin and live in a hot climate, should you wear moisturiser or is that something you should avoid. Asking for a friend, thank you x
Yes, you should wear moisturizer, but one that is a humectant....light in texture:))
What Brand are these products? I am trying to start to build my kit.

As far as back bar products which rejuvi serums do u have back barxx
I have several just because i like too. Retinyl formula, q falvonoid, n bio rejuvenating and the vitamin C. But i usually only use the first two written. Always the q flavonoid, often the retinyl formula:))
Hi Nerida, a small question, why does steam activate glycolic acid? I knew water neutralizes AHAs. Thank you!
It is the heat that activates is. Especially because with steam your not actually removing it from the skin either-the product still remains with heat activating it.
Tried to find your podcasts are they not done yetxx
Not yet...will post out when its up. Many things coming very soon!!!!
So exciting x

Thank you so much for this video. You mentioned that cream cleansers are not for everyone. Who would you not recommend it for? I have combination-oily skin, which is often dehydrated and sometimes sensitive (background rosacea) skin. I also have some sebaceous hyperplasia. I read that cream cleansers are most suitable for sensitive skin and was thinking of trying it out. Wld a cream or milk cleanser work for my skin type?
witealli w you can absolutely use a cream cleanser-it just has to be right for you. If you are in a drier climate, and dehydrated especially. But as long as the ingredients aren’t comedogenic or leaving a residue on your skin, you are okay to use them. I use cream cleansers on myself as well.
Devon Pfeifer Where I live, it’s hot and humid all year round. A bit apprehensive coz of that too. But will give it a go and hope it works out. Thanks for sharing! 😊
witealli w it all depends on what you are using, and the formula. There are gel cleansers for sensitive skin as well. What are you looking to try?
Devon Pfeifer I was looking at the Ren Evercalm cream cleanser, Fresh soy cleansing milk and Biologique Recherche Lait VIP O2. What are you favorite cream cleansers?
There are so many different cream cleansers, and yes you can absolutely find one for your skin type. Super oily skins with no surface dryness are not a good candidate for a cream cleanser to answer that question:))
Please show us the products next time :(
It’s coming…..
