Writing the write blog posts will provide your service business with a super high ROI, especially if you are writing the blog posts yourself, which I highly recommend.
Yes...you can outsource the writing of blog posts on your website, it they are not going to be as valuable to your local audience. You are the expert when it comes to your business, your ideal clients, and where you want to pick up more work.
Create the content around all of these things to get the most out of it.
PRO TIP: Use blog posting Schema Markup to markup your blog post for the search engines. This is why the example I showed in the video was ranking so quickly.
If you are not familiar with Schema Markup (AKA Structured Data) look into it. There are several free WordPress plugins to make it super easy, as well as free to use Schema Markup generators which you can copy the JSON from and paste it on your website.

I think a name change will give you a fresh start and an endless amount of subjects you can create videos about. I really believe that there are only so many topics you can cover pertaining specifically to lawn care before you hit a creative drought. Your current RUclips audience will likely follow you on your new adventure because they already like what you’re doing and/or can relate to you personally.

I came here looking for blogging advice for a service base business (specifically notary) so yes, I have no concern with lawn care but I'm still watching this video. Thanks! This is helpful.

That was the BEST breakdown on backlinks I think I've ever heard. Thank you!

Thanks for the comment! Backlinks are tough!!! At least to get ones that actually provide value.
I read a lot of blogs discussing what John Mueller has to say about what Google has to say about improving your site's SEO. I was very surprised within the last week I read he said poor quality backlinks are better than none... I was kind of shocked/surprised by this.
Still trying to figure out how to get halfway decent ones without using email outreach because Lord knows I hate getting those emails and I am pretty sure everyone else does too!

I've been doing my best to write quality content consistently on my own sites and my client's sites for several months.
The results have really been amazing.
Content is king and always will be because that is exactly what every website is at the end of the day - headlines, text, images, and video.
Yes - doing the SEO properly is important, but SEO isn't going to do anything without solid, quality content to work with!

It's so weird...my beard, red AF, my eye brows = clear...yes, see through... and hair on my head? Who knows! Brown, blonde, red? No one knows!
      Tri-colored hair...got to love it!

Maybe your name/Lawn Crack as you already have built up the LC brand so you don't want to lose that.

I'd keep the website and all that. Still planning on 90% of the content being completely applicable to lawn care and landscaping business owners, but these same principles apply to HVAC, roofers, plumbers, and so on. I feel 'Lawn Crack' makes others think the content will not apply to them.
Trying to be like my boy Peter McKinnon!
I'll be getting to your emails soon...trying to knock out some work on my own stuff I've been putting off for months now because its been client work after client work after new client! Just revamped Optimize's site yesterday. My apologies on the delay!
