- Humpty Bump aerobatics in Citabria. This is a sequence often performed in IAC (International Aerobatic Club) competitions. It's also used in some advanced upset attitude recovery courses. A big thanks to CFI Jon at Walter Aviation in Perry, Iowa!
FULL DISCLAIMER: I PAID FOR THE AIRCRAFT RENTAL. PARACHUTES WORN.
Nice loop in the plane love how peaceful it looks up there relaxing. Thanks for sharing and God Bless.
It is peaceful up there. The world looks beautiful from above, not troubled and angry. Thanks for watching!

Appreciate you watching!
Practise, practise, practise. Then confidence.

You're welcome. Thanks for watching!
Very nice!
I almost lost my lunch. JimE
Sorry Jim!
I remember doing that 40 years ago in a Cessna 152 ... when I was a “testosterone-agitated, silly young boy” .... 🤪
40+ years ago, the only maneuver I'd do in a Cessna 152 was spin. And I still remember that first spin! But 40+ years ago, stalls and spins were mandatory training. But today, spins are not taught. Thanks for watching!
Personal Defense and Firearm Education ... the way to loop a 152 was to first, get to at least 5,000 feet AGL, then enter a dive so as to reach yellow arc, then smoothly ease back the yoke to maintain 1-G.
The key was to maintain 1-G, because if you went 0-G, crazy things would happen, like the engine cutting off by the carb float stopping the fuel flow ... or cigarette ashes floating throughout the cockpit.
..... yup, I’m old ..... 🤣😂🤪
Show off!!!!
You always got to play with the big birds! We'd be on the phone and you'd say "Gotta go Matt. Need to take care of a 747 that just rolled up on the tarmac." Uh-huh...
