Personally, I just feel like the newer designs don’t really fit the theme of Genshin since we don’t see motorcycles (like with Mavuika) in the game anywhere else, which makes it look weird. Plus their designs are just.. random? Like Mavuika just randomly has a tight suit on, and Chasca’s pants are missing a whole leg for some reason? Ororon being named after an Ojibwe (?) deity but then looking like an emo anime boy? Just a whole lot of cultural insensitivity and strange designing in my opinion.

They had so much potential for designing awesome fantasy like outfits/characters, especially with all the different tribes and their themes. Missed potential imo when it comes to natlans character design, which is a shame because I’ve been enjoying the exploration, story and music 😔
I mean, if Natlan is so ‘isolated’ from the rest of Teyvat, I can’t imagine they’d be wanting to spread their inventions to the rest of the world. Think of it like Genshin Wakanda, if Wakanda was open to everyone but nobody chose to go there for some reason

mavuika is supposed to be based off of a maori god (mahuika) personally i dislike her a lot for the reason, she looks NOTHING like the maori god, or a maori person at all. she's whiter than a piece of paper and does not have a moko kauae (this is a special traditional maori facial tattoo that women get), im from new zealand and am very involved with maori and their culture so seeing a character apparently being based off of one of the maori gods and looking like mavuika does is blatant disrespect imo. this is why her design gets hated on so much, its basically racist. no hate to anybody who likes her, just wanted to give my 2 cents about it

I am beginner and have yelan and xilonen, nahida as 5 star and primordial jade spear as weapon so should I pull for go for nuvillete or arlecchino/mavuika, as i don't have any on field dps and have some wishes and capturing radiance in line(lost 3 50/50in line) am at end of sumeru
@@direwolfAD I am not certain about mavuika's kit yet. I recommend go for Neuvilette or Arlecchino. Pick the one you like the most because they are both broken.

I ascended my baizhu pretty much just getting their stock weekly as my ass aint about to climb mountains for those flowers
