CJ had her best game all season because she knew how vulnerable the Huskers have been to line shots for years and she’s really good at them. I’m surprised more teams haven’t taken advantage of that because it’s shown up all season as an issue.

Penn state really played so well! i'm a little disappointed; Taylor shouldn't have been benched, Krause got blocked 4 times out of the 5 attempts she made.
Reilly shouldn’t have set the ball over and over to the same side when back row hitters and the middles were available. It was less about who the hitter was and more about where the sets were going. Reilly had a really rough night and the hitters weren’t able to better her balls all night like they usually do.
She had hit numerous balls out in a row and she wasn’t locking down that sideline shot at all. He was trying to see if a quicker outside could actually block CJ, who was hitting line shots extremely effectively all night against Landfair. Reilly’s sets were off all night and especially in the fourth set, making it very hard for Krause to get a good attempt off in the first place. There were multiple opportunities for Reilly’s to set the middle or back row and she would just push it to the same side over and over and over again. That will never be effective. PSU just played better. Landfair in the fourth would not have saved the team. PSU had all the confidence and momentum.
I wonder if Skylar Pierce will transfer. I don’t think she’ll get any playing time with the incoming freshman class plus Landfair and Harper still having 1 and 2 years of eligibility a piece. She could make a huge impact somewhere else just like Jurevicius is at Penn State

I thought we played good, Penn state just found a way out of the murzik drought this match, they learned quick and kept running with our pace, hats off to them, glad we were able to snag a set from them as well #GBR
Nebraska needs to learn how to play in different environments like this, other universities have big crowds too & not just Neb. I believe that’s why they lost bc there were no fans for them. They get under pressure. Thoughts?
It's possible. Nebraska played very well and composed in Wisconsin in a very hostile environment, so they have proven that they can do it. Penn St is a very tough place to play in, but Nebraska did beat them last year at Penn St.

Nebraska has no idea how to structure a defense when a team isn’t guaranteed to just set the OH when placed in a tough situation. Nor do they know how to play when they don’t have home court advantage. Landfair is a crappy pin hitter but she should not have been subbed out it should have been Merritt who did not produce for the team at all. Why put lindsey in when you’ve been icing her for the last few matches. Mark my words they aren’t cutting it in the national championship unless pin hitters start taking charge of the court.
