I’ve always been fascinated with Norse mythology: but most especially by this particular opera cycle when my favorite band made not one but *two* songs based on the Volsung Saga (the Norse version of the Nibelungenlied, which was the basis for Wagner’s opera cycle).
What is this aria about? I’m very curious to learn all I can about this cycle and its various parts.
