Never forgot how catchy this was. My childhood was great coming across this series.

The score to the original movie is superior. But this song certainly reminds me of many Bubblegum Crisis songs in the later episodes when they switched up so that it was an ensemble.

This is the English version, played over the end titles. The Japanese version can be heard in the BaBe music video.

...what were the later ones even about? I've only ever seen the first one ages ago....

2, 3 and 4 were kind of a continuation of the first one but each episode didn't really have anything to do with each other. 5 and 6 put the characters in a completely different situation, from what I remember Ako and Bko were friends and worked as bounty hunters or something - I haven't watched them since the late 1980s. I watch the first one all the time though, it's amazing!
2 is worth a watch as it was pretty funny. 3 is very strange and is a love story between the three girls and a guy who ends up going for Cko. 4 is a weird continuation of 3 but it ends in a homage to the first movie which pulled at my heart strings a bit knowing that there would never be any more movies, it even played the Japanese version of Follow Your Dreams at the end. 5 and 6 are for the die hard fans (like myself) who literally couldn't get enough of Ako to the point that you'd watch two movies that had the girls play completely different characters.

When he says "5 and 6" he actually means the ones based on the DC comics (or those were based on it I dunno) it's the same characters but an alternate universe kind of thing. So they aren't really sequels.

@@bilibilil Project Ako VS was an OAV with 2 parts:
Grey Side is about bounty hunters (A & B) meeting C-ko, who is abducted.
Blue Side is about the rescue.
Both are awful. But at least the music for the Grey Side is decent, if you're into early 90s J-synthrock.
