I don't think you can add samples, but I think you could probably do a cool organ setup similar to what you did on the cross. The WK-6600 could use that. I'm enjoying my Kross 2, the bonus pack includes all the sounds release by Korg based on the Triton, plus the custom B3 that are fun also. 500+ I think. I've been sampling my K2000 and making Kross patches using my new samples (you can't properly loop samples so they take up sizable RAM). However, my Kross now has 1) a great velocity switched pick/slap bass, 2) very cools horns, 3) my favorite harmonica, and 4) a great Gretsch guitar (all but the bass from the Sweetwater samples). Next project - sample my OB-X. Korg really needs to enhance the sampling to have a loop point within the sample to reduce the sample memory requirements. Anyway, very cool and perhaps I'll make a demo of my new sounds if I get a chance.

Thanks guys.. Will keep an eye out for when it becomes available.
Do you guys sell this sd card separately? If so how much? I couldn't find this on sweetwater.com
Hi Abdiel. In the early life of a product, we tend to keep our Sweetwater-exclusive SD cards and thumb drives exclusive to Sweetwater purchases. But, as a product gets closer to its mid-life, we sometimes make these value-added products available for separate purchase. Thanks for watching!
GREETINGS........ Hey Dan, No FM Electric Pianos on the Korg Kross 2........Any reason for that.
Hi Peter. Did you try: (starting at A009) FM EPiano Deluxe 1, FM EPiano Deluxe 2, FM EPiano Classic 1, FM EPiano Classic 2, FM EPiano Classic 3, FM EPiano +Strings, FM EP. + Pad 1, FM EP. + Pad 2, FM EPiano +Syn Pad, FM Suitcase EP?

In Toronto, there are fine recognisable music stores that showcase the KORG KROSS 2......it's not that hard going thru 1000 sounds if you really wanna know a board. But Dan, dial to E P......and what you hear is not what you named here. Hmmm.

Thanks though for all responses.

@@sweetwater muchas gracias.
Can the card be purchased separately?
Can I use this keyboard as a controller?
Hi P.W. Since the Kross 2 can have 16 different parts, with each part assigned to an onboard sound or an external MIDI Channel, I'd say that it can be a pretty powerful MIDI Controller. Thanks for watching! -_Daniel_
These come on the Kross 2 88, and are downloadable for free from Korg.

Look for option libraries as you scroll down the page.
How can I get this card?
Which software is needed for making sample tone and for making wav file also
Hi Rajendra. KROSS 2 can accept 16-bit .WAV audio files that have a sampling rate of 44.1kHz or 48kHz. So, you can use any recording software (or hardware) that can save samples with those specs. Most DAWs can do this, and many free and paid apps can do this as well. Just search for apps that work with your specific computer, tablet, or phone. Thanks for watching!
I live in Germany, please where can i get thi card?
Hi OBT. After a keyboard has been out for a good while, we usually make its Value Added available for sale to the public. This particular thumb drive is the next one that's going to become available, so watch our website in the next week or so. Thanks for watching!
How dose one get one of them koool cards if ya already have Korgcross 2 ??
Hi Digi Aotearoa. The Bonus Banks and Drawbar Organ for the Korg Kross 2 is currently only shipping with Kross 2s sold at Sweetwater. But we often make our Value Added products available for purchase a year or two after it comes out. Thanks for watching!
How are you changing the the Leslie speed at 4:15? The mod wheel is changing drawbar settings... How are you working the speed accel / decel? Is it random? Expression pedal? I have my eye on a new workstation and have been seriously looking at this one.
Hi Guitarburt. I use the Sustain Pedal to toggle between Slow and Fast. I designed it that way so that you wouldn't need to get a second pedal, or switch jacks when you go to instruments that need a Sustain Pedal. Thanks for watching!
Are you in a band already?
I use the KORG KROSS 2 on most of my videos. Please use these as demos as I am a musician of 40 plus years. I help you, you help me. Fair trade.
Have the bonus card but when I try to load it it says media write protected?
Hi Todd, If it's saying "Media Write Protected", then you are trying to SAVE to the SD Card instead of LOADing from it. Try following the written directions on the cover letter again. If you still can't get it to work, contact our Technical Support team. Thanks for watching!
I have the same issue. Did you find a solution?
If it says media write protectected take the card out. You will see a button on side. Slide it up. Now it will work.
How a mic works along with live playing. Is it is solid for singing along with this workstation. Or else it is required to buy another audio interface?
What are the procedures before remove the sd card after use?
Hi sansong station. I usually just leave it in there. But it's usually safe to remove as long as the KROSS is neither reading or writing to the SD Card. You can be completely safe by inserting or removing it when the KROSS is off. Thanks for watching!
how do you get the card ??
Where can I buy the card?
Hi Dario. The Sweetwater ValueAdded thumb drives we made for the KROSS 2 is currently only being shipped with KROSS 2s bought from Sweetwater. But usually, over time, we'll start selling the thumb drives separately. That will probably happen with this thumb drive sometime this year. Thanks for watching! -_Daniel_
hello, is it possible to open an mp3 song on korg kross 2?
Hi Krzysztof. The KROSS2 uses 16-bit .WAV stereo files with either a 44.1kHz or 48kHz sampling rate. You can use you computer to convert from .mp3 to a 16-bit, 48kHz .WAV file. (Use 48kHz since KROSS2 converts everything to 48kHz anyway.)
