Thank you very much Sheila, for your informativa and nice video! You are a good teacher! Your loops are perfect! I'm seartenly addicted making bead dangles. It's so fun! Love your beads! ❤😊🌹
Great video Sheila..very clear directions. From watching other videos, it seems ‘keeping in screen’ is a common problem. People seem to solve the issue by marking their screen area with small pieces of Washi or even scotch tape as a reminder not to go outside the square.
Dear Sheila, thank you so much for this tutorial.....I need it so bad! I have been so frustrated that I'm about to give up on this jewelry beading thing. I won't, I'll keep trying now that I've found this great video. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Great tutorial Sheila. Thanks SO much for explaining . This will help me tighten up my dangles and beads. Beauty surrounds you as always. 💙💙💙💙🍀🙏B B x x
Ohhh!! SOO soo helpful i have so many big holed beads that i didn't know how to deal w to dangle because of that very problem so Thank you fm the bottom of my heart for sharing this video!!❤❤❤
You know how much I ❤️ your beads. I’m still hunting for the perfect place to buy lampwork beads 😜💕💕💕 besides wish had bad luck with them. Good job on your explanation 💕
Thank you for solving my problem with wires. I definitely need to work on tension. But I am a sucker for buying wire by color only. You are the first person to explain (especially dead soft) in a way I understand. Edit: watching it again and wanted to say now I also understand why certain pliers are needed. I love how cheerful you sound, too.
Hi, Sheila. Nice tutorial. I thought I would share that I believe the 4th tool that you share here in your video are "looping pliers". I don't recall the brand of tools that you are using but, I would bet that's what they are. 🤗 I use Wubbers...more ergonomic. Lindstrom has a version, too.
I planned to make dangles but just got too busy and time got away from me! Not to worry I will still make some when I get a chance! Lots of gardening required at the moment! Love that romantic bead drop! ☺️❤
Thanks for the tutorial. I think now that I have the right gauge wire I can improve on my loops! It really helped to see how you managed to keep your beads so tight...mine are often loosey goosey! Off to practice some more!
Hi Sheila, what a great and very useful tutorial. Your very clear in your teaching it helped me a lot. I dont work with beads a lot but looking at this tutorial i want to go ahead and make some if my hands let me. Your beads are absolutely stunning, can i ask where you get them please? Tfs Hugs xxx Sonja
Well the artisan ones are likely older from when I collected beads to play with about 12 +years ago. The sold coloured and sparkly glass ones come from our craft shop joanns. I love their glass beads. So shiny and heavy so they dangle beautifully. I hope your hands can handle it. They are so Much fun to create ❤️❤️❤️
This is a great video for making loops. I will definitely be practicing before the retreat. I love the heart beads you use! Will we be able to buy them at the retreat in California?
What's the problem/downfall with using a headpin or an eyepin if you only want to create an eye loop at the other end instead of a wrapped loop? I am only using it as a dangle i've never had a problem with any of the ends breaking off. This video is great instructional esp how to wrap downwards towards the beads. If i wrap both ends they never look the same size loop....how can i get both loops same? Thanks so much.
There is no problem using a head pin or a loop end. The problem I had using the ones that were decorated is the solder was very weak and it broke. I never worry about loops being the same size. But after so many years it’s kind of like a habit placing the needle nose in the same place. In the beginning I marked my needle nose pliers where I wanted the wire to wrap. Thanks so much for the comment. I sure appreciate it
Thanks for this tutorial Sheila. I apologize if this has already been answered in your other video which is on my”to watch next” list but do you make sure your bottom and top loops are aligned parallel? When you make the loops are they lined up? Hope that makes sense.
I do. But I mention it in here but I feel that for anyone just learning to just practice the loop without worrying about them matching. Get a feel for tension and wrapping with beads on the wire. When that’s easier cut the wire of and now practice aligning them. For me it’s easy to align with the way I hold my beads with my left hand. Thank you so much for asking.
HI SHEILA WHAT KIND OF BEADS ARE YOU USING CAN YOU GET SOME THRY ARE BEAUTIFUL AND WHAT KIND OF BEAUTIFUL PINK RIBBON WHERE DO YOU GET THAT DO YOU SELL IT THANKS KITTIE
Hi Kittie. I didn’t see any pink ribbon in the video sorry. The beads I was using in this video were from joanns. The handmade glass beads I call artisan beads are a bit harder to find and are a bit more costly. When I find them reasonably priced I do pass that on to the crafters. Thank you for the comment ❤️❤️
I do enjoy your channel, but being off camera, I miss more than 65% of your show. I wonder if you had a visual boundary on the base from which you work set to your camera frame. Not going below the bottom of the "box" will keep you in screen You won't need to look at your camera, simply keeping your hands and what you are working on will always be in camera shot.
Thanks for the kindness. I think I have improved since then. And old habits die hard. I should mark it off and then try and remember why I did that. I have to admit those super tiny beads I just can’t do infront of the camera. It’s like I need magnifying glasses to do that. Yes. It’s always the bottom I’m out of camera too. What I see on screen lies to me with every phone camera I’ve used. Your comment is so kind and constructive. What is your profession?
Ty so much came out out so pretty
Thank you ❤️❤️❤️
Oh that buttery yellow in the background is to die for
Thank you, I have watched this several times until I got it... YAY!
I love the dangles and the decorative headpins are adorable

If I buy this wire what do I ask for? Thank Sheila, I love your tutorials
Hugs. Maggie ❤️🤗🇨🇦❤️
I use 20 gauge jewelry wire in the craft stores. I love the gold as it’s the most versatile
my solution would be to tape off the camera in the frame area
Maybe like a circle of washi just to show where your hands could be for the close-ups?
Thank you thank you for doing this video!!!!!
I hope it helped ❤️❤️❤️
