Very nice haul. All good tools. I have Estwing hammers and hatchet, and they are good quality tools. I think the Estwing company is still independently owned by the founding family.Telling us what you paid is a useful way for viewers to get an idea of what they should pay. I think the beautiful micrometer complete with wrench and wooden case was a steal. Thanks from the USA.
Thanks Pat I can’t believe I said the word, hammer three times instead of hatchet or axe I don’t do any editing and I only shoot one so I end up with what I end up your right on the car boots you can find some amazing things and a very reasonable prices thanks for your comment kind regards Ben
You have some very good car boot sales out your way, jealous! I like the Footprint wrench copy it looks like a cross between a monkey wrench and a Footprint, nice 👍👍
The wire strippers look promising. Never saw that design before. Nice hatchet. 20 pounds? The Mole Grip release is great. All 9f mine with the lever release are a bear to open once they are clamped tight. Good hunt!
Thanks very much I had a really good flea market this morning and I had to make two videos to get it all In not a bad guess on the hatchet :-) Thanks for your comment
Nice haul there👌 £8 on the Estwing.. 🤔 Very nice especially with the leather sheath, I’ve got a pair of the Mole grips.. I think they where the original brand who made vice grips in the U.K. great tool, quality made👍
Ben, I'll guess that the Estwing set you back 20 pounds since you bought it from a mate. Nice haul again on the boot sale tools. Id love to join you some time on the boot sales, I'll bet that they are quite addicting. Thanks for another great video. Keep up the great work.
hi Robert thanks for your comments 20 pounds is not a bad guess if you’re based in the north west of England you’re more than welcome to you I can give you the details of the one I go to all the best ben
That hatchet cover is great. I haven't seen any Estwing tools here down south yet; I reckon you beat the man down from 20 to 18. All those screwdrivers for a fiver seems great value too. I only spent £3.50 at my car boot this Sunday, seems like I wasn't trying hard enough!
Hi Nick thanks for your message car boot sale is a hit and miss sometimes I spend 50p sometimes I spend £150 it was a particularly good one this week that was a really good guess I’ve just done the video for the price we will go have a look Eric did ask £20 for it so are you a very close thanks for watching :-)
Good video mate. Nash has a lot to answer for as I’ve started a Footprint collection myself now. That hatchet would be $20- $30 here in Australia, but I think £14.
hi there you’re right Nash and scout crafter have caused a few purchases around the world for sure :-) I made a video showing how much I paid for the hatchet so you can have a look and see how close you got but it’s definitely a good guess thanks for the comment :-)
The Moore and Wright micrometer, the Mole Grips plus the screwdrivers, a steal.
thanks TonyThere’s a reason why I keep going back to the car boot sale for treasure :-) thanks for your comment
