As a heavy built runner with a slow pace I must say that the Nike Invincible Run 1 and 2 are the most comfortably running shoes I ever had (with a running experience of almost 50 years). I love them ( I have four pairs right now).
I'm skeptical about the version 3. Seems to be a brand new shoe. I don't like the new design with the sockliner and the outsole that doesn't have full coverage of rubber anymore. Stones and gravel can get stuck. V 3 is also heavier. I will buy more versions 2 if still available in stock.
I never bought version 3. It didn't appeal to me. However, a fifth pair v 2. My other favorites besides V 1 and 2 are NB More v 4 and the new v 5. Very comfortable.
Received my pair today, wore them for a couple mins. This was my first time trying Nike Zoomx foam and I'm blown away on how soft/fluffy they are. I work valet and running parking lots and standing for 5+ hours I really needed some soft cushion shoes glad I cop these. I'll br getting my wife a pair of the New balance fresh foam and try them soon after I'll update ya on a vs Update: Mov4 vs nike zoomx3 I really think there're both equally good. Both cam get the job done as far as max cushion and with me working valet I plan on rotating them both
Totally agree one of the best shoes out there especially if your legs are tired. Hopefully the durability issue has been fixed as a shoe of this price shouldn’t fall apart in a few months
Still on the 1s: I know some people are a bit unhappy with the durability, but I do think that for many people, this shoe is very durable. The ZoomX foam is easily damaged by abrasion and high impact on sharp objects (more so than with other foams), and large, heavier built people will experience a relatively short life for the shoe. But if you are the sort of person who is able to place their feet with great accuracy and care and you don't have accidents, this foam is very long lasting, and especially so if you are smaller, lighter individual. In my experience, there may well be a tipping point with the ZoomX, where beyond a certain compression point the life of the shoe is shortened a lot. But if you are a lighter individual that doesn't reach that point, this shoe may well last longer than most others.
@Eagleclaw I've had my unc 2's for 8 months and my Thunder Blue 1's for atleast a year and a half. Probably both my most worn shoes since I got them just because how comfortable they are. If you literally have any other shoes to rotate for unfavorable situations as OP said then the durability really isn't an ISSUE. I'm more than fine buying another pair whenever I need to, although it looks like I won't be needing to until the 3's come out with a nice colorway.
Can confirm. I bought this shoe in the summer of2021 but shortly after put on a fuck ton of weight. It is august 2023 now and the left shoe is starting to come apart. Loved the shoes though they were comfy as fuck. definitely makes it easier to walk for fat people.
Just saw these in the Nike Store and compared it vs the Invincible 2. No padding in the ankle area and thin flyknit upper + plasticky feel makes them look cheap. They also shed off the sides of the midsole. The bottom is wider at the middle. The holes in the outsole makes them look like Adidas Ultraboost. Even the shoelaces are thinner. They just made these shoes lighter. The swoosh in the front is reminiscent of Prestos. I still like the look and feel of 1s & 2s. But if they made a Gore-tex version, ill definitely get one.
I got the 2’s based off your last review, and they’ve been great for running, lifting, and just regular walking around! They’re not the most durable, but they’re great performance wise, and I might have to get me these 3’s!

This is Nike’s homage to the Ultraboost. That midsole shape is soooo similar, and the changes they made to the outsole are straight out of the UB1.0 - UB20 as well.
These are already available here in asia on the nike app. Men's sizes come in white, black, blue colorways. Women sizes come in pink, purple and black colorways.
I just got mine today. Can’t wait to wear it, indoor and outdoor and especially for work. I work in the ER and I’m constantly on feet so this shoes will be put to the test
Nike outlet has the Invincible Run 2 in stores for $105 and then an additional 20% off. So I took them home for $90. Not sure if all outlets have the Invincible 2 in stores or not though
I like the way the 2's look, especially that grey and orange one. The black and white one is ok with me. But this blue 3 I find ugly and it's only because of the way the white chunk looks on the bottom part of the shoe. I suspect if they come out with a model that has a color other than white in that area I'd probably think it looked ok, depending on the rest of course. Either way I really want to try the 3 regardless of the looks.
New balance supercomp v1 is the most comfortable casual trainer...the Nike doesn't even come close....the new balance supercomp v2 isn't quite as good as the v1....that is based off just casual walking around but when it comes to running it probably isn't the best but still pretty good
These look much better than their predecessors but I have 2 issues with them. Why is there a swoosh in the toe box area and worse, why is there a GIANT ZoomX billboard square on the medial side of the shoe. Just remove those 2 and it'll look much better.
I love the 2's and i think i prefer the look of them too, i miss the half swoosh logo from before & oddly became fond of the little ledge on the back of the shoe, these look ok but not a fan of the big tag thing on the inside of the midsole & lastly they REALLY need to make a triple black version (or at least a black & white one without the huge hit of colour on it to make it more wearable) i get it's supposed to be for running but at least have one wearable colour way for the everyday lifestyle wearer
Bought my first pair went for a cool 3.5 mile run the following morning. Not bad of a shoe! Very comfortable. Plan to get another pair when these die off:)
I got the colorway black ordered from app, but I returned it coz materials feels cheap. I like the primeknit of ultraboost better than this, this feels shiny plasticky waxy thin upper. I just did not get the premium feel on this one in person. My 2015 UB feels more premium. Makes squeaky noises as you walk as well. A shame since I got this because of high praise by youtube reviewers.
Which would be a better lifestyle shoe this or 1080 v12? Mainly for malling and lifestyle? Thinking if this upgrade addresses the complaints of stability and durability of previous invincible runs iterations to make me reconsider copping this.

I like the 2's and its style. The squishyness of the heal still not used to it. But it's comfortable and I can run all day in them. The new style is plain and boring. I need new colorways for the 2's. I have the exact same grey and tangerine ones.
I can't wait for the all black invincible 3s. They're dropping in April this year and I'll buy those 100%. I can't stand white on the bottom of any sneaker, they get filthy easily.
I like the new design. I might now buy this just for the ugly huge orange zoomx label on the heel. I have couple of 1’s and 2’s. Hands down the most comfortable shoes on the planet.
I love the 2s’. Have the gray/orange ones you used clips of. Wanna walk around on a cloud… buy these. Now, the new ones. The upper change is cool. I really don’t care for the “scalloping” or whatever you wanna call it with the midsole. Honestly, I was disappointed with the release pics. Hopefully there’ll be some good colorways

Another RUclipsr modified his Invincible 2's about 6 months ago, and they looked very much like this. I will not buy any more Nike's until they get their QC under control. My last 4 pairs of Nikes all had some type of flaw in them.
I occasionally do a long-distance run. 1x a week if possible. That's when I can don't usually have the time. I work as a personal trainer and am on my feet a lot. My feet always hurt even with my Hoka Rincons. I do workout a lot lifting and running on treadmills during slow times between clients. I will usually run intervals on the treadmill. Sometimes building up to hiit sprints. Would these be too heavy for that? I change into Nike metcons for my lifting, Really don't want to change my shoes 3 times a day. These shoes get very $$$$$.
I just ordered the Nimbus 25s. They seem like a better everyday shoe in terms of comfort. They are also $20 cheaper and I was able to apply a 10% discount. So hopefully they work out. Im a Nike guy too. Every shoe I have is Nike

The invincible run 1 changed my life. Ran my first two marathons in them and have put around 300 miles on 3 different pairs. Can't wait for this one!

The split down the middle of the midsole straight up looks like an Ultraboost 2019.
Ed Budd did that. He cut the outsole of the Invincible Run and gave Nike a hint

Yep bought a pair of 2s Iron Greys for $160 AUD without the lid = fire! Gonna buy another - these 3's are butt ugly imo.

100% agreed, especially on the need for a triple black. Also, I hate that orange stamp on the midsole!

I thought my vaporfly were good but the stability and having full zoomx in the invincible 3 are definitely mor comfortable to run in.
