Hi Kiki! Just started watching Ur vlogs recently it's shows how much efforts u Put in to make short and crisp videos!! (Btw one more subscriber from Vellore.
Sol kadhi is a cooler which is been drink with fish which is made up of coconut milk;garlic;curry leaves;kokam The person who eats fish at that time they cant take milk or chaas so it is used as cooler drink which is also refreshing
You had a great time with your brother. At your age, I didn't touch strret food and now too, my aversion for street food irritates my friends and relatives. We prepare panipoori and vada pao etc at home sometimes. I have lived in all the big cities in course of my postings in the past three decades. My stomach always terrorised me. They look so inviting. In 60s it's not advisable. My gastronomic explorations were confined to select restaurants and wines. Life would have so very exciting. But life has been fine. My siblings and our children enjoy their outings. I am mostly at home. Great video You love everything you do. We learn so much from our children. Keep smiling and blogging.
Even bhel Bhuri served at Adayar Anandha Bhavan always has raw mango piece added in it, maybe you didn't get a chance to eat bhel in Adayar Anadh bhavan
Hi, Kritika. Just a quick explanation about Sol Kadhi. It is a famous drink of Maharashtra's Konkan region, which is made from Kokum or Aamsool and coconut milk and garlic and chillis for some spice. Kokam gives it the tangy flavor and pink color. Kokum itself is supposed to be an excellent antidote for acidity.
Hey Kritika I am just back from the Gym now and watching your this video ..... made me hungry and want to test all those but unfortunately it's not the cheat day today 😅. Great job by you in this video. Keep it up
Solkadi is made with coconut milk by adding in some kokum juice( which gives it a pink colour) and some chilies and spices. It is good digestive drink usually had with non vegetarian Thali in kokan region
Sol kadhi is usually drunk while eating non vegetarian or spicy food. Actually thalipeeth is extremely healthy as it is made using a variety of grains and is considered as one of the most consumed breakfast items among Maharashtrian households.
Thanks Kritika for introducing me to Aaswad, despite of living in Mumbai for 13 years I have never been to that place. Rest all other places have been tried and tested 😊. Next time you can try a road side chaat stall near Elco, they are awesome. 👍
There is one recommendation from my side...whichever food you taste give it marks on a scale of 10....so that we viewers also get to know which was the best dish and what we should try or not :)
Enjoyed watching Food Vlog after a long time :) I am big time foodie myself ;) Also , came back to your channel after a while . You are doing great girl
In case you get a chance to visit 'Laadusamrat' which is located at Curry road east close to lalbaug lane! Do check out snacks from there especially Kharwas 😀
Solkadi is made by (kokum ) mangosteen n coconut milk, sugar n kharvas by cow or Buffalo milk which is only after their baby bored that milk mixed with sugar or jaggery n some green cadamom , nutmeg
Saw your video for the first time when you had 35k subs. And the best thing is that you havent changed and the content is still top quality. Thank you. Have a beautiful December☃️☃️🕺
Kritika , I work as Advisor IT to Chancellor NMIMS University and regularly have Vada Pav , Dosa and Grilled sandwiches at ANAND . You are most welcome again.
Plz plz do try Kolkata's 'phuchka' (pani puri/ golgappa) when you will visit next month. I can assure you that you'll love it. Have from somewhere where they will serve the authentic phuchka with the imli water than the pudina water. Also try Paramount's Daab Sharbat & Tele Bhajas and chops from North Kolkata. Since you are a vegetarian, so can't recommend the rolls and the cutlets which are the other specialities of the city. Also do visit China Town where you will get numerous chinese restaurants (I would recommend you to go to either Beijing, Kim Ling or Golden Joy). Also go to Park Street. Last but not the least, do not forget to have bengali sweets made of nalen gur which is seasonal and are only available during the winters. Love!!!
In January when you are coming in kolkata , definitely try the" lake kalibari" panipuri, you will love it unlike mumbai and also the bhel ( one of the best)
Been busy with exams so missed your videos. Catching up on all of them now. This was sooo good! Please make more food vlogs. I'm actually hungry just watching this 😂
Hahaha bad idea to make this video when you were trying to be on a diet 😂😂 but yeah, same here, I can’t believe it took me so long to try some of this stuff!
I am a huge street food lover and I always tend to try it out wherever I visit. I am from Haryana, living in Delhi and there is no difference in terms of street food. I remember back in 2015 I used to pay monthly to a gol gappe wala who used to put his stall near my flat. But now I have stopped eating that much. I even ate gol gappe at Dainkund peak and when I was in Kathmandu (very different stuffing)
Really liked the video. I live in kolkata and kolkata is also famous for street food. Do visit and eat some. Last but not the least video dekh ke muh me paani a gaya.☺😃
I just visited Mumbai for the first time last week. Wish you posted this video a week back. Anyways awesome video. You should visit Britannia & Co restaurant which was super famous and was cool! Btw I m vellorian too.. Great to find a RUclipsr from Vellore! Keep vlogging :)
Nice food vlog where your brother also participated and added good comparison and opinion .He also looks quite comfortable and natural in front of camera. Both of you may create more food vlogs together.
You should also visit nearby Kurla (Mumbai) Sahara Hotel. It became junction for food lovers. People from all over Mumbai visit this street till midnight. In Dadar west you did shoot this video near Anugraha Hotel (Ranade Road).
The pani puri in mumbai doesn't have aloo.... what u ate was boondi and moong mix and that's called sindhi style pani puri.... there is one more version of pani puri in mumbai which is eaten with ragda that's called bhaiya style pani puri
Great vlog! Now I'm hungry at 2 AM. 😂 You should try eating at Gurukripa in Sion as well for chats someday, it's really popular. Also, there are variations in the pani puri filling. Even I don't fancy sprouts in the filling. There are other places in Mumbai that have ragda as the filling which tastes wayy better in my opinion. You should also try pani puri and sweets at Jhama in Chembur. I remember you mentioning somewhere that you love going to cafes. Why not try doing a video of the ones you love the most based on budget friendliness, ambience etc. Eagerly waiting for the Irani cafes vlog!
Ooooho... So ur tasting so many street foods with ur brother... I wish i was there.. I also have a sweet tooth, can eat lots of sweets n pastries.. Doesn't the modak look like a dimsum.. Mam, white butter is much healthier than regular Amul’s.
Pallavi Ojha no one can beat amul
Amul dairy product is no 1 in india

Thalipith is the healthiest and nutritious snack among all the dishes you tried out.
You gave us whole "Aamchi Mumbai" feeling through this video especially when you started with Misal pav! Nicely done!!!😍😍 #proudmumbaikar
But we eat tasty pizza dosa under rs100! Never spend more than 200on street food in Mumbai 🧡
Thanks! :)
Solkadhi is made of coconut milk and dried kokum (a sour fruit which is found only in konkan) and green chillies and blacksalt is added to it
Going out for dinner. Will come back and watch the remaining video.
Please do make part 2,3,4,5 cover whole Mumbai street foods...

Ahh interesting. Did not know that. I love thalipeeth! 😍
Mumbai is incomplete without missal and vada paw...its must
It's Indian butter. Makkan. Loni. Not the salty commercial butter. It's not unhealthy.
I'm Maharashtrian . Solkadhi is made of Kokum ( referred to as Goa butter tree or kokum butter tree in English ) Best for Acidity problem 😊
And the gujrati food trail. Soam opposite babulnath, swati snacks and chetna at kala ghoda
Kharwas is made from cows first milk ( colostrum) as it curdles well and it is flavoured with cardamom. It's very common in Maharashtra.
Yeah I read up about it, quite interesting :)
Thanks Kritika for introducing me to Aaswad, despite of living in Mumbai for 13 years I have never been to that place. Rest all other places have been tried and tested 😊. Next time you can try a road side chaat stall near Elco, they are awesome. 👍
Yeah I'm surprised I had never heard of it, loved the food there! And I've tried the road side chaat there too (numerous times) :D
