Just to clarify since this explanation could be misunderstood…when I referred to why I didn’t explain the processions/relations in this video, the reason is that they are immediately ordered to explaining the Trinity of the persons and the unity of the Godhead. Thus, it’s more proper to treat it when explaining the article of the faith rather than just stating and proving the article of the faith. Obviously, the processions/relations is something which is a *dogma.* Sorry if I was unclear on that.
“So pay attention to how you hear. To those who listen to my teaching, more understanding will be given. But for those who are not listening, even what they THINK they understand will be taken away from them.” (Luke 8:18)
A wonderful defense of the most Holy Trinity! Gloria Patri, et Filio, et Spiritui Sancto; sicut erat in principio, et nunc, et semper, et in saecula saeculorum, amen.
4:34 I'm pretty sure proposition 2 might refute the heresy of Marcionism and Gnosticism as both claim the Father is an evil god and not the true God. Also great video overall, fairly concise yet thorough. Obviously more could be said for all 5 propositions (I have made an entire multi-hour long series on proposition 3 alone for example), but what you showed here is more than enough to illustrate the Trinity in scripture.
great defense of the trinity from scripture! In Luke 1:43, when Elizabeth said "And why am I so honored, that the mother of my Lord should come to me" is the word(to describe Jesus in Mary's womb) lord in Greek the same word that is used to mention God as Lord previously in chapter 1?
I'm currently finding my way through a lengthy study of Unitarian proof texts and arguments and 3 these things I must say: 1. You see a constant misrepresentation of the trinitarian view. Which does make for some laughable objections. And... 2. Most of these objections are pretty weak. A major problem with why they are so weak is the idea that words in the Bible only have one meaning. And because this, Unitarians run into all sorts of errors when you show them that words do not always have one meaning in scripture. One word can have multiple meanings. And can be used in many different ways. 3. The more you study the Unitarian position especially their proof text. The more you realize the Bible is not Unitarian.
@@marvalice3455 Yes, Not saying there aren't some difficulties within understanding the trinity. I still don't understand every single thing about it. But the more I study the unitarian arguments the more unlikely it get's that Unitarianism is true.
I'm watching your excellent video style treatise on the Catholic faith. I go to the comment section, I see you liked a comment about support from "groypers." You've been blessed with wisdom from God, but you want to squander it with trolls on other who are in bondage of the Idolatry of Race. Make it make sense bro.
since the Logos is the word and the word is with God (this shows the Word's consubstantiality with God the Father) since the Word shares the same substance as the Father this would mean he is identical with the Father. The son of God is the logos incarnate therefore the Son is God.

Proposition 5 is one of the most interesting to levy against Unitarians. They NEED to collapse the Spirit into the Father.

Groypers are behind you 100% my brother…….
Stand back and stand by…
Catholicism = white supremacy? Dang…
Thanks Christian! Looking forward to the next videos on the Trinity.
Looking forward to it!

Tbh, I literally cannot read Scripture as anything but Trinitarian at this point.
My Jehovah's witness parents would be so ashamed

I wouldn’t call myself a Groyper. Plenty of my friends are and I’ve expressed various concerns. I just liked the fact that they’re behind me.
@@MilitantThomistThank you for this explanation. I'm glad that anyone who is behind the truth of the Trinity is so.
bump
Ive always thought the very first verse of the bible proves the trinity. Ive told many jews this when they try and talk smack.

I can respond.
What do you mean by the son is god?
The son is identical to god?
alonzo, get a lifr

since the Logos is the word and the word is with God (this shows the Word's consubstantiality with God the Father)
since the Word shares the same substance as the Father this would mean he is identical with the Father. The son of God is the logos incarnate
therefore the Son is God.
concepts aren't God. knowledge and language is limited. its better to know God than to know concepts of God
This is great teaching 👏 ❤️
