New BUDDY here. When I first got into GFriend, Umji was the first one to catch my eye. She just looks diferrent than the usual female idol I usually see (kind of like how RM caught my eye first in BTS because he doesn't look like the usual pretty boy type) with her round face and wide shoulders. A lot of female idols have long, oval-shaped face and tiny shoulders, making them looking almost identical to each other, but Umji is different, which I really like. Her face and body shape is kind of like mine and I was delighted to know that she likes singing Disney OSTs, because I do too. Looks like we have quite a number in common.
Same here sis. That's why I stan her. Cute, talented and really different from the rest of doll-like idols. Not that is bad but the K-pop industry is full of blueprints.

First a curse on anyone who’s bad words caused her a moment of sadness...... Now I see a sub unit of her and Sinb. Her dancing skills is good enough to keep up with Sinb which is very impressive.
Kim Yewon (Umji) is the embodiment of hardwork, positivity, and perseverance. Whatever she felt she lacked from the very beginning, she continued to work through it and became such a beautiful woman from both the inside and outside. She's such a role model to the younger generation and to her new group, ViViZ. Always, Umji umji jjang!!! 😁👍
umji's english starts at 3:46 with her singing in english following immediately after at 5:34 - her english is always a joy to hear - i especially like the fact that she has an accent - yet demonstrates a high level of fluency she can form TH's - whereas Krytal has problems with them - Umji did have problem with the rare combination "THL" (in "atheletes")
I would like to have the Umji's talents and skills: sing, dance, rap, speak fluently English, play the piano... And her cute and lovely face and personality touch my heart 💓 She is a fantastic person and idol, my bias 😻😻
Umji was the first member that caught my eye in glassbeads MV. I dunno. Her face just looks so cute and different. Her eyes and smile were very unique and different from any other human i have ever seen. Her voice is also very soft and sweet making me fall in love with her even more. She also has that shy look which is just something that i fall for. Shes also very kind and understanding. Oml her face is so cute honestly probably cuter than a babys face.

When Gfriend just came out I was kinda interested cuz they were called the female INFINITE. I didn't really look who was who because their songs were kinda similar time to time, but whenever I watched them I always looked at Umji and remembered Umji the most, only to later find out that she was ashamed of her looks. I wish I became a fan of Gfriend earlier and did something to support her. Now she's become too beautiful and I feel like just jumping on the hypewagon just cuz she's beautiful. But yeah I'd wife her any day any minute. My current girlfriend can visit XD
