it seems to well preserved and with almost no dust on clothes and mirrors to be abandoned by a lot of time. seems that the owner just died few months ago and no one touched anything but the entrance door. if you found the windows open, even the photos on the blanket sounds too strange to be there, a small wind would let them fly down

Makes me wonder if it was owned by someone in organized crime that fled as Italy has made fresh efforts to crack-down on it, or if they were arrested and are incarcerated, and any caretakers have stopped coming around. To my eyes it's a weird mix of obsolescence when that 2013 calendar is considered, but I don't know how Italian homes are outfitted. The kitchen seemed particularly sparse of things like working surfaces and appliances, but for all I know that might just be what's relatively normal.
you should consider this is probably a grandma house and it seems to be located somewhere out of the city so probably something rural. the furniture was "modern" at the time it was built and lived by the grandma at her 40's the feeling is rather than the people who lived there just died with no parent/son and no one takes care of what they've left behind
Here in italy a lot of elders can lives by themselfs so it's not so uncommon to find a mix of old and new things. My grandma, for example, kept all her really old belongings with great care (like a really old tv) but at the same time had a lot of new stuff, usually gifts or purchases by relatives (like a new flat tv).

A frozen house left suddenly. Apparently more than one person lived there and they left at the same time. This is very strange.
