  • Follow along with me as I travel through the side streets of Ashok Nagar, a shopping area in Bangalore, India. This walk will take you through Brigade Road, Church Street, MG Road, Saint Mark's Road, and more.
Ashok Nagar is a bustling shopping and dining destination. Mahatma Gandhi Road, which locals call MG Road, is the main thoroughfare and offers everything from designer boutiques to second-hand book shops, as well as hip eateries and pubs. British-era landmarks dot the area, including the 19th-century Mayo Hall and the domed St. Mark’s Cathedral, with intricate stained glass.
Ashok Nagar is one of the oldest localities in Bangalore. The neighborhood has grown quickly over the past several years as a result of its excellent position and accessibility to other areas of the city. The widespread creation of business enterprises was encouraged by the availability of abundant, high-quality space. This attracted some renowned developers to the region, which in turn helped this community to thrive.

They must ban foot path venders. It causes congestion and people start walking into the street. Shocking to see B’lore has grown beyond recognition!

China has built multiple mega cities. Also, China’s population density is lower than that of India because it is 3 times bigger in terms of land area.
