you should've mentioned that the mouse switches are easily swappable with their switch packs, so you can have omrons, zippys, huanos etc if u want

very good point! I’m not really into customizations so that’s why I didn’t mention but I will pin your comment so others see this!

ye usually I'm not either but they made it super simple by keeping the screws at the bottom visible(so u wont waste the mouse skates) and making the switches easily hot swap.@@hyecross

Even if you're running the mouse on 2k hz, the clicks always get polled at 8000Hz so you still have the lowest click latency possible. But I do think that your issues with the high polling rates are mostly due to your PC/ unoptimized OS. Most of the time AMD also has more issues than intel requires a lot more work to get it running smoothly on high polling rates. The software actually was intended to be this barebone. We just wanted to offer a super minimalistic .exe file (this one has around 2MB I believe) which you can also just easily throw on a USB stick or whatever. And I think that's fine for a mouse like this considering it's set it up once and you're done with it. Happy to hear you're enjoying the mouse though!

Can the mouse be used in 1K pulling? I play tarkov sometimes and that game doesn’t like higher pulling rates

@@dewbe5327 yes of course, 8000, 4000, 2000 and 1000Hz polling rates are possible.

Hi! I have ordered the huano blue pink dot switches. I felt like the original switch is a little bit heavy for me, but this is personal. You think the difference is very noticable between the original and the huano pink dot in performance? Thx for you answer. 😊

the hump is alot smaller and the sides are very flat(dont slant down) on the op1 8k. Performance on the op1 8k absolutely destroys every single mouse on the market though

Do you have an AMD CPU by chance? Because if you do, only a few of your USB slots are direct-to-CPU which is needed on AMD boards to utilize 8k. All other slots have to go through the chipset which is an extra step and that ruins 8k by massive lag

it depends on your motherboard. it's different from each one. but for mine which is a x470 asrock taichi, I use the top 4 ones on the backside, but only 1 of them work lol@@keanusutton5634

Let's flip the script. Why shouldn't you be using a wired mouse in 2024? Last time i checked you don't have to charge a battery. If lightweight is your thing its much easier to create a shell that does not need to be heavily altered and look liked it got hit with a cheese grater,(i own a few so I can make fun of myself.) The click latency is always lower verses wireless even though that tech is dam good. Also the price, generally cheaper with wired, more over if you need and want 4k with no dongle included, if its bundled the price will probably reflect that.
Lastly you don't have to worry about any type of inference with your network or router being most wireless mice generally run on 2.4ghz, my wireless mice stutter when there is a heavy load on my network, running fiber 2gig. My question is what again is so much better on a wireless mouse than on a wired one minus obviously not having the wire. However i would argue with a good cable and cable placement like this Endgame Gear mouse and a good bungie, negligible is the word that comes to mind.
