Thanks for sharing this knowledgeable video. I have uninstalled this LTSpice more than 5 times on my Mac after realizing I don't have any toolbar on my screen. You made everything crystal clear.
Thanks for the video...it would be helpful if the camera was much smaller and placed outside of the LTSpice window. It covers up a lot of the steps you describe.
You kind of get the feeling the Mac version didn't ever get "finished" before they released it. Like...the windows one you can easily pull up a menu which helps you populate the analysis parameters, but on Mac you have to just do everything command line. Would be really nice if they could iron this thing out because I hate having to BootCamp in just to do LTspace. Thanks for the video though. This was helpful!
Professor thank you so much for these tutorials, however I wanted to asked, given that I need to compare experiemental results with simulation results, how can I export the waveform data to excel?
Hi sir. Thanks for his tutorial, it's a shame that everything is superimposed unnecessarily, his camera, the title of the tutorial, don't allow me to see clearly. It is only a contribution to improve, not to discourage it. I ask you, is the TL341 component included? Cheers
Thanks for the tutorial! Finally I got it to run. But I do know the windows version and that one is much more comfortable. I suppose Linear does not care about mac users so much.
Very useful video but how can you import third party components? I've tried to paste the new Spice model to the Spice directive but I can't modify the value of the diode I'm trying to use
Thanks for the video. I am also wondering if there is a way to stop LTspice from creating a directory under ~/Document/. Any help would be appreciated.
Really really good, and really needed since the toolbars and menus are missing on mac. On my Mac (Sierra), the software update doesn't work. I noticed that Mateo skipped this step on the install. Is this known to be broken?
Very nice video! I have a problem updating or inserting new bjt's because LTspice does not have a folder in application support so going to appplication-->package contents and reconfiguring .bjt file doesnt work. Have you ever got this problem?
i hade unfortunatly update to last version and now the RMS and AVG calculation doesn't work anymore. Can you please share the old version .dmg for mac? thank you
I installed LTspice XVII under macOS mojave on a MacbookPro and funnily in the Draft->Component chooser box everything is white on white. Only when I click blindly in the white area in the bottom, an item gets hilighted and gets visible. To add a datapoint just in case that matters: I have installed LTspice XII under Winebottler on my Mac as well. (which works fine). Christoph
If you are using the MAC OS X LTSpice version you can simply press FN+F4 and add the GND (See minute 7:12 in the video). Otherwise you can right click , go to draft and click on Net Name
after downloading it i can't find it under the devices option and whenever i click it it shows a warning saying image not recognised. what to do..please help
I searched around a lot but was not able to find how to do DC Sweep on Mac. This is the only video that shows how. Thanks

Good video, I haven't used Spice for 20 years and you have done a good job of showing how to use this Mac version.
I am glad you found the playlist helpful.
Thank you very much; I would not have gotten much done on my lab report had it not been for this video. You saved me hours of reading.
Thanks. I am glad this was helpful for you.
Thank you so much for your excellent LTspice tutorial for the Mac. Information on the web about how to use LTspice on the Mac is very limited.
Thanks for the video...it would be helpful if the camera was much smaller and placed outside of the LTSpice window. It covers up a lot of the steps you describe.
Thank you sir for taking your time to make these tutorials!
You are welcome.

Same here, it has been frustrating using LT Spice for Mac without a more fluid UX.
Thank you. But please crop the face camera. It covers to much space :)

Thank you very much, this helped me a lot!
Works just as fine for LTSpice XVII
Professor thank you so much for these tutorials, however I wanted to asked, given that I need to compare experiemental results with simulation results, how can I export the waveform data to excel?
Thank you for this video !! You saved me and my teammate!!!

Thank you for the tutorial. I was wondering if we can save the simulated plots on MAC to an .emf format . Please let me know.
Thank you so much! I really needed this and I agree that the OSX version is annoying.
i'm discovering this fascinating potential..thanks !!
Very helpful video, thanks for making it. Is there any way I can save my plot panes so I can load them up right away?
Can LTSpice be used for simulation from a spice file without drawing the schematic like it is the case in the windows version of it?
yes
Mateo Aboy any pointers?
Thank you so much! I found this to be very helpful.
Thanks for the introduction, but have you noticed that your face overlay is hiding about half of what you're doing?
Agree. It's frustrating, because the information is good, but as a beginner, I have no idea what's going on.
Thanks for the tutorial! Finally I got it to run. But I do know the windows version and that one is much more comfortable. I suppose Linear does not care about mac users so much.

I show how to do this later on the playlist for LTSpice.
@@mateoaboytube Thank you!

thank you very much for this tutorial, it helps me a lot!
You wouldn't have a video on using third party models in the Mac version, would you?
Yes. It is in the same playlist ruclips.net/video/u9MbhSKW5LI/видео.html
I have an important question, how can i found de power in a resistance?
Thanks
Thank you sir!
so helpful!
How can i install a new Library? I add a new folder on the lib carpet but it doesn't appear when I try to draft a new component.
Thanks.

In windows when you perform an AC analysis linear one point, you can see magnitude an phase response, how can I do the same on Mac?
i hade unfortunatly update to last version and now the RMS and AVG calculation doesn't work anymore. Can you please share the old version .dmg for mac? thank you

Very Helpful!
So incredibly helpful, thanks for making this!

How to put ground ??

Muchas gracias senor!
You are welcome
De nada. You are welcome!
Some constructive criticism: Your selfie "inset" SHOULD NOT OBSCURE the circuit or menu selections. Crop and minimize it PLEASE,
This is very frustrating to me. I want to learn but the most important information is hidden. I'm going to look for a different video.
how do u save the file into a particular folder In Mac.
?
The interface GUI of LTSpice is absolutely bullshit.
trying to install this and it says can not install to this disc?? i have 1tb spare so why wont it install?
