I love the fact they drew an Inner Kakashi just for Sakura's technique. I can read hirigana, but I can't make out what his forehead protector has written on it.

The one Zabuza and Sakura were the most creative for sure. If I remember right, to hold the charge after copying a Chidori or Lightning Blade, just keep holding A

8ing is currently creating Hunter X Hunter. So a game like this is literally coming out soon! Now only if they could make a modern CON/GTN game. Man, would it be amazing!

As a 12 year old, I never figured out how to do the Sharingan move in Clash of Ninja 2. Plus, add to the fact I never was able to get the AI to do the special jutsus properly and you can see why.

I dusted it off and played this game after like ~15 years today (well the 4th one that never got released outside Japan). It was a lot of fun. I think I liked it since it felt pretty casual and was also pretty flashy compared to a lot of other fighters. Kind of reminds me of Smash Bros in the feel even though they play completely different. 4 player battles were the best.
For real, 4 player mode had so many crazy possibilities and was funny when someone last minute doubled team someone another player. Two people could use certain specials in conjunction with each other, and finish someone off then keep fighting lol. One favorite was Kimimaro and Lee. You'd use Kimimaro field of bones, then Lee would teleport at some point and do hidden lotus before then ones would vanish lmao

He doesn't. Kakashi (Sharingan users in general) cannot copy "Kekkei Genkai." There isn'ta single bloodline technique that the game allows Kakashi to copy. The Shadow Possesion Jutsu and Mind Transfer Jutsu are "Hiden" which can have specifics passed down, orally, but are not bloodline specific. Any ninja can use the Mind Transfer Jutsu and the Shadow Possesion Jutsu, the latter being a rather basic jutsu that someone like Kakashi wouldn't need Sharingan to utilize.

Probably Inner Kakashi.
It's written in katakana, not hiragana, so that might be why you were having trouble with it.
But yes, it does say "Inner Kakashi" (内なるカカシ)
