My mom sang this song to my siblings and I when we were little and still does if we call her upset. My sisters have carried on the tradition and all 9 of my nieces and nephews know this song by heart. Makes me nostalgic. =(
My mom sang this to every baby she took care of. I followed her tradition, but unfortunately, I don't think anyone is after me, my own daughters and nieces never sang it to their own kids
This song brings me back to when I was a tiny thing. Someone I hold very dearly in my heart used to sing it to me and I hope to one day sing it to my kids 🩷 Miss you Debbie 🕊️
I sang this song to my 4 children & my grandson. From the 1956 movie Bundle Of Joy. I've watched this movie over 100 times since I watched it with my Nana growing up.
My mom was born the year this movie was released. She and I always watched old movies and musicals. (I was born in 1975.) I sang this to my kids when they were babies. Now I sing it to my grandbabies... all 4 of them. 💜
Oh, now I understand why Billie Lourd and Carrie Fisher were singing this song when they joined Debbie Reynolds on stage as captured in the 2016 HBO documentary, "Bright Lights." The song choice makes sense now, as it was grandmother, daughter, grand daughter in a loving nurturing family context.
Thank you for uploading this. This song is the only lullaby that i sang to my child when she was born and I've been looking for it for along time thank you.
Debbie voice is amazing no wonder she got the part to play Charlotte the spider in Charlotte’s Web with her soothing calm kindness how she is well in tune amazing. On this film she and Eddie are perfect together with their baby so cute and adorable.
Alma Herrera if you watch the film there's a scene where she's pushing the baby in the stroller and has this big overcoat, but it's pretty obvious there's a big bump under there;) Also this movie (which Fisher actually hated apparently) was released with him and Debbie to bring more publicity to Carrie's birth since they were the 'America's sweethearts' couple then
I seen this movie many years ago, as a child. It was on tv, and my grandparents were watching it. I have remembered this song my whole life, I sang it to my 2 daughters, and now I sing it to my grandson! There thing is, I never knew what the movie was called, or who was in it, until just recently after the loss of this beautiful lady! I seen a clip of it on the news, and I was SO excited! I honestly was beginning to think that I had made the song up in my head!! Lol
Hello Theresa, I saw it when I was young also and the only thing I could remember was them singing the song together. I couldn't remember the name of the song though. So when I got a computer and RUclips I searched and searched until I eventually found it on a video tape. Glad it brought good memories to you and a lot of other people. Merry Christmas.
17/6/12 Somebody said who the baby was but it's not here anymore. The part was actually played by twins David and Donald Gray.If you google bundle of joy and open the IMDb link and look in the full cast and crew section you can read it there. Thanks for commenting. Regards, Ray
@mimadi90 Yes I just love her singing. I nearly didn't leave the last 30 seconds or so in. Didn't know whether to or not. I'm glad I did now. Thanks for taking the time. Hope you had a beaut Christmas. Have a happy new year.
@heeltapsgm Thank you for commenting. I searched for a long time to find it but it was worthwhile as it seems to be important to a lot of people. Thanks to all for your comments.

I love it! Thanks! I have sung it to my godchildren and other little babies over the years. I did think they had a verse in the movie about patty cake?? Am I completely losing it? Thanks for posting!
@Raymaur46 yes, i really do agree with you. thank you, i'll hopefully get to buy it soon. Thank You also. Have a Merry Christmas to and Happy New Year to You to.
@mkiingst0n 29/12/2011 Thank You. I agree with you. I believe this has something to do with the attitude of the people, better morals, their attitude toward their fellow human beings. There has been an obvious decline in this area. I believe this movie has been re-released on DVD. Thanks again for commenting. Hope you had a beaut Christmas and have very happy new year. I wouldn't have forgiven him, and I just heard the story for the first time since Debbie Reynolds died. I'm just coming to look at what a jackass looks like.
Love this movie as a kid and thanks for sharing the clip... I know it's been quite a while since you uploaded this, but if it's at all possible could you upload the song, "All about love" from this movie? . TIA ~
Debbie Reynolds was pregnant with Carrie Fisher at the time they made this, though she is not showing. I was hoping to find the scene where they dress her up to go out on New Year´s Eve. would love to see the whole movie on youtube!
@heeltapsgm I've seen the full movie on youtube but I can't find it now. It may have been removed. I have the full movie. Is there any part you would like?
@cookieshopgirl She is terrific isn't she. Are you having a baby soon? I bet it'll be very special. It's a special song. I searched for it for a fair while before I found it. Will you post a video of you singing to your new baby. I'd love to see it.
@emilyskinner10 19/1/12 Thank You, she is amazing, isn't she? I wonder who the actor is who played the baby. Did he become famous later in life? Does anyone know? Thanks for commenting.
I would love to sing this to my baby someday. But I need to meet my soulmate first : ) I'm sure Debbie Reynolds used to thinkg Eddie Fisher is her soulmate. But he turned out to be a womanizer.
Funny how no one mentions Eddie's singing in this video only Debbie's. Debbie, let's face it, did not have a voice at all. Despite Debbie, I did like the movie and Eddie, even though he did not have much experience in movies, he had the voice.
My mom sang this song to my siblings and I when we were little and still does if we call her upset. My sisters have carried on the tradition and all 9 of my nieces and nephews know this song by heart. Makes me nostalgic. =(

Debbie's voice is so nice and soothing.
Was* 💔💔
My aunt used to sing this to me when I was a little girl. Hearing this makes me miss her.
She was 4 months pregnant when she made this movie. I love the song and the movie.
I would fall asleep to Eddie Fischer and Debbie Reynolds any day
They both have very beautiful voices and it really shows In this song. It’s so adorable!
And now, Debbie has left this world. How sad to lose both Debbie and her daughter within a few days.
How very true, many are missing they both still RIP Debbie & Carrie & Eddie from years before. Take good care Todd & Catherine xoxo
Divina Debbie Reynolds. Una luchadora. No entiendo como se casó con ese Eddie Fischer.

Lovely lady with a beautiful voice, sadly missed but never forgotten.
Debbie Reynolds was my favorite actress,I miss her so much, now that I am in my own country, we do not have TCM or ACM on cable TV
Debbie voice is amazing no wonder she got the part to play Charlotte the spider in Charlotte’s Web with her soothing calm kindness how she is well in tune amazing. On this film she and Eddie are perfect together with their baby so cute and adorable.

That was such a sweet movie. Loved Debbie & Eddie.
My youngest is 27 years old. Sung this to her all the time and still do.
My mama loved this movie and I love it too it's so sweet this my favorite part though lol ^____^
Crazy to think that if Mike Todd had lived they may have worked out.
He married Elizabeth Taylor, right?
Read Todd Fisher's "My Girls" that just came out. Beautiful book. Debbie, Carrie and Todd were a hell of a family and a team.
We miss you Debbie.
I sang this lullaby to all my kids. It's a sweet memory now!
so sad, she was pregnant with Carrie in this film
Vickie P omg that's crazy!i wonder how along she was?

Aww this is so sweet she was pregnant with Carrie ❤️❤️
That's so cute and fun
"i wonder if the board of directors is a blond, a redhead or a brunette?"
Wrong! It was a black haired named Elisabeth.
Yes, and didn't Eddie make a bad decision.
+Raymaur46 It ruined his career and life that bad decision
I wouldn't have forgiven him, and I just heard the story for the first time since Debbie Reynolds died. I'm just coming to look at what a jackass looks like.
This is just sad how she guess ed about Elizabeth and Eddie and look what happened
Yeah. When I found that out I was mad
Someone do a tribute vid for debbie and carrie with this music pls!! ;(
So sad that the marriage was destroyed. They are so alike
My pleasure! I saw this movie at the drive-in when I was kid . Enjoyed it so much!

I play and sing this to my unborn baby every nite and I can tell he likes it bc he wiggles everytime he hears it ^_^ ♡♥♡

Deby Reynolds is a better wife and much talented than Eliza Taylor.
who's eliza taylor?
I used to sing this song to my kids also. And to be honest I felt Donald O'Conner would have been perfect for this role instead of Eddie Fisher.
I agree. Tbh I don't find Eddie Fisher a very good actor. He's certainly not a comedian. I like his singing voice though.
@heeltapsgm I've seen the full movie on youtube but I can't find it now. It may have been removed. I have the full movie. Is there any part you would like?
