L'ingresso lì è sempre stato un trucco magico, spero e penso che l'abbiano reso più grande. Can anyone tell me the tradition behind the ladies in the front of a band carrying a cast of I'm assuming schnaps, and the other ones who carry large horns filled with flowers? I love the German parades.
Those are the so called "Marketenderinnnen", they are sort of a "decoration", but earn also money for the local band by going around and selling schnapps to the people. You could also say that they represent the band like a business card, because they are the ones getting in touch with their "fans"
@@sieglindesteckholzer5126 Thank you for that information. Obviously they still have a very strong German influence. I believe it was part of German until after WWII. I traveled to my family's origins in Palermo, coming over the Brenner Pass. While it was Italy, it was most certainly mostly German influence. The houses, the speech, the food in that region was certainly German.

That is not in Germany, it is in South Tyrol /Italy
