They talked about filming season 1, their relationship with each other, season 2 spoilers and fan theories and famous Millie and Finn kiss.
The cast members Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Noah Schnapp and David Harbour were present along with producers.

It's so sweet to see these kids act like regular old children. Anyway, it's reassuring to hear that the cast binge-watched it just as us the fans did and were excited about the episodes. Gives me hope for season 2 being just as good as season 1! I also love how one of the Duffer Brothers gave such big praise to the movies of the 80s and how they influenced the Season 2 narrative, because as a child of the 80s, I agree that they don't make great movies like that much anymore.

Nope, nope. You don't wanna mess up with Eleven/Millie on-screen OR off-screen, lol. Her protective mode went from 0-100 in a matter of 0.00011 sec.
What happened there is Caleb took offense at the implication Millie was making when she commented how it was "disturbing" that the Duffer brothers found her kissing scene "entertaining," so he shut her down, and rightfully so. Millie was making a thinly veiled accusation of pedophilia - jokingly, I will grant - and Caleb would have none of it. Good for him. Some things you don't joke about, Millie.
She got defensive because she was completely taken aback by Caleb's reaction.

I noticed it right away, and felt terrible for the Duffers. Had Caleb not intervened, they had 3 choices: (1) Joke back at Millie in the same vein, and seem creepy; (2) deny the charge, and seem creepy for suddenly getting defensive; (3) sit there, say nothing, and smile while this 13 year-old girl, who they made famous, humiliates them in front of hundreds of people.
I hope Millie's publicists gave her a talking-to after this; she's young, but this is one lesson she needs to learn ASAP.
I think that maybe all this fame and popularity is going to Millie's head.i mean she is a great actress and all but what she did was so inappropriate and I felt uncomfortable when she said that.The duffer brothers made her famous.was it not for their show Millie would be nothing. I love Caleb for pointing at that and correcting it.
Guys I honestly don't think Mille meant any harm. I don't think she meant to hurt anyone's feelings. I think she was just trying to be, but not know that maybe it could have hurt their feelings. And maybe it didn't hurt their we don't know, but if it did I don't think she meant to. She still just a kid, and sometimes kids to say stupid things and they don't even know it. She'll learn, and she probably did after that interview. So let's not call her a diva, or say the fame has gone into her head, because she didn't mean to come of rude, or hurt anyone's feelings.

He originally auditioned for IT, but the original director dropped out and he thought he wasn't gonna get to play Richie or get to be in a film made by Stephen king. Then stranger things came around and he auditioned for the show thinking it would be like only a one season thing and ended up being a global phenomenon.

It's strange but I noticed that everytime everyone tries to talk over one another, they only ever all shut up when Finn starts talking. Ever notice that?? That's the sign of someone who is truly viewed as a leader.
This interview was super great and totally amazing for stranger things fans but I kinda feel like the interviewer was really out of it, like he didn't know stranger things and wasn't having fun in the interview.... but I'm only 20 minutes in so 😶

I live in New Zealand and we are a day ahead of the US, which means season 2 will come out the day after Halloween, so me and my friends are celebrating by dressing up as the characters on Halloween, then watching season 2 the next day

Anyone else low-key feel bad for Noah, I felt like he was getting left out, but ily all of them and not hating on the other cast members. He actually has a partial stage fright. He talks about it in a earlier interview. He says he doesn't love to talk a lot in front of a audience of people he doesn't know at all.
It’s kinda cool to see how much he has evolved, he used to be most quiet in interviews, says his little one liners, but now he’s really at the center in a way, talkative, and he seems to put himself in front of an audience a lot. Guess the only way to get over that fear is to put yourself in those uncomfortable situations, and he definitely has achieved it

There wasn't much positive hype about Stranger Things a week before it dropped on Netflix last year like Stranger Things 2 is getting now. In fact, most of the reviews I read gave it 2 1/2 stars out of 4 or less. Most reviewers just shrugged it off as a waste of time.
One reviewer, Robert Bianco, USA Today called it a Spielbergian slog (whatever that means) and said that the (8 hour long) story felt sluggish and flaccid. He even dissed the monster as not very scary. I guess he prefers zombies, werewolves and vampires, eh?
Another reviewer, Ben Travers, IndieWire said: "“Stranger Things” never establishes itself as anything more than a reminder of what was, instead of a celebration of past and present ...Yet the end result ... lacks a lasting impact. By checking all the boxes in appeasing its predecessors, the new series fails to surprise, even with its last minute twists. " He clearly asserted that most adults would be too savvy for it and that it would be a waste of time unless you were a kid who'd never seen "ET" or "Stand By Me." BTW, I think that it's his review of "Stranger Things" that lacks a lasting impact. :)
Thank goodness I didn't believe those reviewers! And thank goodness Rotten Tomatoes had an open mind and certified it as fresh with a 96. And thank goodness people loved it and gave it the word-of-mouth treatment that it truly deserved so that others could enjoy it too. I can imagine that a lot of people invited their non-Netflix friends over to watch it while munching on popcorn or boxes of Eggos mimicking Eleven.
I'm in my 60's and loved it. I binge-watched it and told everybody I knew that had Netflix to watch it too.
Only 24 hours until Stranger Things 2 ... I can hardly wait!
