They won’t. Games been teased/known for 3 years and Nintendo didn’t do anything. The day a Pokémon mod went up that changed the models, the person who made the mod already had Nintendo on his doorstep. If they wanted to do it, they would have a very long time ago
This plays much more like Ark than a pokemon game. I dont believe nintendo had many ground to begin with.

They still have no case currently, unless they push for the squint test (still doubt itll have an outcime in which Pokemon Company/Nintendo wins) which has been used in the past for cases exactly like this to where if u squint and cannot tell the mons apart (by them looking too similar) correctly, then something could happen.
But if u go ahead and for example squint at Anubis, side by side with Lucario, its very easy to tell which is which, but its up to those who decide on it in Japan since this case would follow Japanese Copyright Law, rather than international/USA since both parties are in Japan.
