VERY NICE FINDS !! 👌 SO COOL JUST THE HUNT FOR THE HISTORY SURROUNDING YOU GUYS !! AMAZING!! I WOULD LOVE TO BE ABLE TO HUNT WITH THESE GUYS !! I COULD DO IT EVERY DAY!! LOL!! THANKS FOR SHARING THIS! IT'S AS CLOSE AS I'LL GET!!
Love it. I really like digging in trash. You found some great little items. The sign ... amazing. I love bottles...probably would have brought them all home. It’s so good to see that you got to be out . Thanks for sharing the video. It’s always great to see you, stay healthy.
Love those little cologne or perfume bottles..every now and again I look what is on ebay, cause I enjoy collecting small pieces from the 1930's and 1940's. Great that you and Chris found some nice things..thank you for this video, Look forward to more in the future..
Another cool video. My question is why are there so many thumbs down? Who and why are they giving thumbs down? You are digging history! Anyway keep up the good work.
No idea, there will always be viewers that just don't like the video or are filled with jealousy. But truthfully, after all these years of making videos, I don't give a sh%$ about it. I make videos for people who enjoy them and as long as there are a few people out there that enjoy the content, I'll carry on.
At least someone missed my goofy face. Seriously, one of your favourites. So be honest I wasn't sure if I wanted to upload the video because of the crappy image at the beginning of the video.
In the US in the 1930s & 1940s and maybe up to the early 1950s, small ball candy (similar to cake sprinkles) came in small glass bottle in the shape of cars, airplanes, boats, etc. I have no idea if the little bottle car you found is related.
Mike: The car cologne bottle is reminiscent of Avon Cologne bottles. I know that Avon produced such bottles of cologne in the 60s and 70s...not sure when they originated or how long they produced them.
So much in and around Berlin. What do you need to do regarding permission to dig? Maybe you can do a search in and around the Wannsee or Plotzensee? Or maybe a magnet fishing video in the canals through Berlin?
Impressive Mike and Chris... you guys always find some neat stuff...... BUT I loved your 2nd job trying to sell hair clippers... If they have them here in Canada - you sold and I buy a set even if I'm almost bald.... Be Safe Be Well and Be careful - both of you.....
2:15 its a Knife from the „HO“. A Gastronomy of the GDR. Sorry my english is Not Good enough for that. I say it in german: Das ist ein Brotmesser mit dem Aufdruck HO Gaststätten. Die HO war eine Gastronomiekette und Handelskette in der DDR. Ein schöner nostalgischer Fund.
You posted that insurance sign a while ago. It's about time you got the video out (just kidding 😆). The company on the headlamp lens (Riemann) made auto and motorcycle carbide lamps before the war. Not saying this is from that type of lamp, but it gives you a direction to look. I could not tell the symbol from the picture, maybe if you clean it up a bit. I did the best I could, flipping the image changing the lighting so I could read it. I would love to have access to a dump like that. I'll just have to keep watching you.
You are right. It is really wartime and before. searched for the address on the plague and the building was destroyed during the war. So is obviously from before 45. Thanks Chris!
Thank you for deciding to share Have to ask if you actually try and find value on any of the things you find like the dish/bowl and maybe the bakelite container ?
Hi, not sure about the value of the tray but the bakelite containers are worth about 15-20 dollar. But collector myself so it's nice to add that one to the collection.

👍For some it was rubbish in the past, for us it is history. Thanks for showing. Stay healthy
Amazing 70-80 years on how much stuff there still is all over the place!
The closest car decanter I could find was an Avon VW beetle. Idk. That perfume bottle with the stopper was gorgeous! May be an old Rolls Royce.

Thanks for posting Mike. Cheered me up on lunch break at work after a rough first half. That sign was really neat 👌
Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for watching. What did you have for lunch? :)
@@IronMikeMetaldetecting I had Mac & Cheese with Cinnabon twirls 😊
Nice finds 😊👍🏻
Thanks 👍
Super leuke video Mike👊🏻
Bedankt Diego!
The car is an old glass one. I hope I have helped you. Oh and probably from the 30s. No need to thank me. Keep up the good work.
Mike: The car cologne bottle is reminiscent of Avon Cologne bottles. I know that Avon produced such bottles of cologne in the 60s and 70s...not sure when they originated or how long they produced them.
yeah that's what I found out but found it in between 1940's bottles and even military items. so that got me confused.
Very very cool. Your English is outstanding. I have a friend named Heinz who lives in Berlin.
Thanks! 😃
I have dug those bakelite electric plugs here too.
Nice 👍 friend 👍
Thank you! Cheers!
Topvideo weer Mike!

Hi Ted, trust me, it's not always that we find great things. There are (a lot of) days that we come home empty.
Stay safe and well Ted.
Saludos buen trabajo. Buscando la historia
Nice finds
thanks for watching!
take care of your self keep safe from covid 19
thanks, you too Pete. Stay safe
I Googled the knife too. I don't speak German but it appears to be a restaurant name on the handle of the knife.
Yeah it is a general name for Hotel. According to someone who know a bit more about these it is probably a pre-war knife.

Exvelente buen vídeo. ..me alegra que pongas subtítulos en Spanish.
I watched from Indonesia, a colonized country, being a slave to the Netherlands for 350 years
Hello! I from Indonesia🇲🇨
3:28 it says "funeral and life insurance"
Thanks!
Looks like an Avon Glass Cologne Car Bottle
Somebody already mentioned it sorry..
I think so to Avon after shave collection
enjoyed it very much longer video next time huh!
More to come Pete! :)
good, because there are Indonesian subtitles and it's very helpful
Nice to hear, hope they are any good!
@@IronMikeMetaldetecting oke, semangat ( Indonesian language )
Regards, buddy
Thanks for watching!
Ohh yes
The sign is 99% not post-war. It really has this 1920-1940's Germany feel to it

Lol, sounds to me typical response no matter where you live.
Woohoo waking up to iron mike (don’t tell the wife)
LOL (don't worry, our dark secret)
The car says to me Old Spice cologne.
when the video of your whole collection? :) ;)
Kaufen sie auch Nachlässe ?
Straight pride 🚩
Do you think it is a trash dump? That is why it’s various time frames??
It has to be. There were some different layers of trash. So must have post war but right after the war, considering the military items.
Stupid question but do you ever encounter snakes or spiders?
2 li ke!
Thank you for watching Sofia!
