I changed my tactics based on that important info
Hosas is the only way to go in this game, pedals are very nice to have but optional if your sticks twists well, hotas is bad for SC and 6Dof is terrible on keyboard
@@Swatmat Nah. Even before the model changes the optimal setup was KBM and pedals for rolling + some form of head tracking. Until proper ramp up is added to directional thrusters (if ever) the natural jerky movements of keyboard are "meta".
@@ytsks some of the best pilots use that setup, but some of the best pilots use HOSAS too, so it’s hard to say. What we all can agree on is having full analog control of your roll is the key
@@spectresecuritycontracting382 Talking pure input advantage here, it is unfortunately undeniable, same as mouse aim. That said I also fly virpil hosas and I know monsters with kbm and no tracking. My org mostly flies hosas, not because it is "better" but because it feels better. Ultimately resource management, spatial awareness and positioning will always gap any marginal gains you may have from the setup. I think more to the point is you don't need dual alpha primes to be good, and they won't make you better either. Nice flying btw :)
Nice flying!

why your left monitor is your ship status, instead of shields status? how do you know when to evade or retreat if you dont see your shields?
