Thanks Ryan, I think it's a great request/suggestion that GlowForge separate their web app from the machine. My only complaint about my two Glowforge units has been concern about how their web app continues to evolve, and the questions I have about what happens to my GlowForges if their business model doesn't last the long term. Having a local print driver for my Glowforge which would let me print to it from my local machine would totally alleviate my only concerns about the Glowforge ecosystem.
The funny thing is they came up with a new machine it’s a diode laser it’s 6 W in it’s $1200 but you can get a 40 W diode laser now that has cylindrical rotation for engraving cups. I appreciate you watch in connecting up I look forward to catching up in Durham. I move there in one month.
