90's Commercials Vol. 161
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 4 мар 2016
- These commercials aired on ABC on September 17th and 18th, 1993
1. Corn Pops
2. Batman Action Figures (The maze here is a pretty cool re-creation of the first BTAS episode to feature the Riddler)
3. Max Factor
4. Dominos Thin Crust Pizza (I can't believe they replaced the Noid with this awful generic CGI domino with sunglasses)
5. TV Spot for "Into The West" (The music here is James Horner's theme from "The Rocketeer", which was used in a lot of trailers back then: • 01 - Main Title - Take... )
6. Kraft Ranch Dressing (With Kristin Davis)
7. M&M's
8. Promo for "Full House" and "Phenom" (I remember my sister watching "Phenom" after I was done watching "Full House". I forgot Judith Light was in it, and had no idea the main character was played by the same girl who played Kevin's sister in "Home Alone": • Les Incompétents )
10. Cream Of Wheat
11. Energizer (Wow, this is dark)
12. Smuckers
13. WXYZ Station ID (Neat!)
14. "Captain Planet and the Planeteers" Commercial Bumper (The commercials starting here are from 9/18/93)
15. Snap Shots
16. Jurassic Park Tiger Handheld Game (I'm eternally grateful that my parents only allowed me to own one of these "games")
17. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints PSA (These PSA's are really nice. What they have to with Mormonism or even religion in general...? I have no idea)
18. "Captain Planet and the Planeteers" Commercial Bumpers
19. Sally Secrets (So many secrets)
20. Eggo Minis (IN YO' MOUTH! I remember eating these before elementary school every morning for a few years, but I never thought to stack them like that)
21. Chuck E. Cheese
22. American Dental Association PSA (Interesting to see another one of these strange dental PSA's featuring prehistoric animals)
23. "Captain Planet and the Planeteers" Commercial Bumpers
24. Snap Shots
25. Reading Is Fundamental PSA
26. Anti-Drug PSA (Partial)
27. National Wildlife Federation PSA (With Kermit The Frog and his nephew Robin)
28. "Captain Planet and the Planeteers" Commercial Bumper
29. "Captain Planet and the Planeteers" Ending/End Credits (Wow, that theme song is amazingly ridiculous. I think it would be really fun to cosplay as Captain Planet at ComicCon and over zealously scold people about the evils of littering)
30. Assignment Education Bumper ("We were forced to air Captain Planet per a Government mandated educational programming requirement. Our real cartoon programming now begins")
31. National Wildlife Federation PSA (With Kermit The Frog)
32. Michigan Association of Police PSA
33. WXYZ Station ID (Wow)
34/ "After These Messages" Commercial Bumper
35. Cookie Crisp
36. Dannon Sprinklins (Let's make eating a healthy snack like yogurt completely pointless by turning it into junk food!)
37. "After These Messages" Commercial Bumpers
38. Rice Krispies (With Goof Troop Squirters)
39. Matchbox Car Wash
40. America's Funniest Kids (Ha...ha...ha?)

The more you watch the sadder you get.
I know right these were the good old days
especially the captain planet. I used to watch before going to school also the jetsons.
Honestly the more I watch the happier I’m getting. Reminding me of how I felt before this world did a number on me haha.
The commercials back then we're all about being happy, now it's all about depression, debt and working out
Jessica B well working out is normal but depression thou now today's commercials are getting inappropriate
Awe the Energizer Bunny! He kept going on forever. I wish the 90s went on forever too... : (
"He's my brother."
*IMPACT*
lmfaooooo
Tommy Gunn right? I get what they were trying to imply, but they failed implying something else.
I really miss the 90s! If only we were allowed to relive a certain point in our lives, just once!
I know right now shit don't feel the same
Remembering and watching these commercials from my youth really does make todays commercials look like crap
Ah the gold old days
I want cereal now -- these commercials still work nearly thirty years later.
1:46 " Put that snap back in your life".....Guy in wheelchair catches football.....
john michael dude I never noticed that when I saw it as a kid, but died laughing when I watched this and noticed that a minute ago!!!
ohhh man!!! watching this bring peace to my soul,,,,,,,,, no social network no computer, no cell phones,,, no bills, no responsibilities,,,,,,, i rememeber my dad setting the timer on the vcr to record saturday morning cartoons before he would leave to work
this makes me feel a sad achy longing in my chest. also, i miss my mommy.

born in 82.
commercials just seemee so wholesome. there was a pureness and innocence of the 90s......
Tania Louis it was definitely a wonderful era!
This is all marketing that fueled the “I need more” and “get in as debt much as possible” mentalities that started a bunch of bullshit. You think being manipulated into buying as much as possible is wholesome?😊
I was born in the 90s but still remember some of these commercials. Man the 90s were the best!
Can we replace those stupid ads you can't skip for 90's commercials instead? These are way more entertaining than a boring ad here.
It's like watching a time capsule.
wheres all the pharmacy commercials with 30 side effects at? ohhh wait they didnt exist back then..
Prescription drug ads were not allowed to air on TV by the FCC until 1997
the one at 5:48 struck me right in the feels
Holy shit, I remember that Matchbox Carwash. Always wanted one and never got it. 30 years old now, so fuck that noise - I'm getting one now on Amazon.
TEEN1DOL yassssssssss
Happy Birthday, here's a fucking bowl of cereal...
man I miss my childhood. Being an adult really sucks, and when you are a kid all you want to do is grow up..ugh why? Simpler times. Kids now are stuck looking at their tablets, not watching the wholesome cartoons they we watched. No such thing as Gluten intolerance, all kids allergic to Peanut butter, lol. Miss simpler times.
Disney I have just started secondary and I agree, all of my friends so
have no *fun* things to do, they just play videogames, I wish I was a 90s kid :(
Disney you can say that again! I miss the 90's so much after watching this!
The thing I miss most about 90s commercials & music videos is the randomness & avant garde animation.
Lieutenant BaconWaffles they were so incredibly awesome and over the top! Commercials these days for the most part are boring and dull as fuck in contrast.
oh my god, that full house teaser. I watch reruns of that show at night. god I wish I could go back
Even the commercials were better in the 90s. I miss Saturday morning cartoons!!!
SanguineUltima Man every damn thing was better back then! Well maybe the technology wasn’t but everything else was.
Treal FA That's part of why it was better!
I remember those dinosaur dental PSAs.
@ 8:25 I remember still seeing this dental commercial in the early 2000's...anyone else?
Good to watch when I want to escape :)
I'm 23 years old and I want those snapshots and keep in mind I never seen them before.
So funny to see celebrities before they were famous
I had that Jurassic Park Hand held game back in the day... it was terrible. The whole game was basically trying to run down a road.
My son was 6 months old when this was on.😁 Thanks for the memories.
I remember that matchbox car wash, I used to think it was so cool
This commercial makes me feel so freaking nostalgic 🤧😭❤️
"Where would a villian like me hide a bomb?" I dunno, put it in theaters and call it "Batman & Robin"
I miss the 90s everything was so much better back then.
BadCompany 2 completly agree. tv was WAY better
Back when I didn't mind watching commercials
Yep. Modern commercials are passionless and sad.
this makes me feel a sad achy longing in my chest. also, i miss my mommy.

born in 82.
I have been looking for the bumper at 12:52 for months! Every time I would ask someone if they remembered it, I would get looked at as if I was crazy!
T.T the 90's were creative....
0:00 Ahhhh....the ol' bra-less wonder and Heiress to the O'Henry Candy Bar corporation.
I miss being a kid in the 90's.
That guy playing football in his wheelchair eating pizza.
Lol
this really brings me back. I used to watch ABC cartoons all the time
Oh man I remember that Latter Day Saints PSA! There was a shortened version that played a lot in the 2000s that I remember so fondly. I didn't know it was from the 90's!
the dominos commercial made me hungry ;-;
The Captain Planet stuff was a nice touch.
Those Tiger Handheld games would be a great replacement for coal in the stocking of naughty children on christmas.
Hahahh I laughed so much
Has anyone noticed the captain planet theme sounds like step-by-step by new kids on the block? Just thought I'd point that out.
I will always love commercials from the 70s, 80s, and 90s from here in my hometown of Detroit Michigan. I grew up around these commercials from the 80s and 90s and the commercials from the 70s will be just a history lesson to me on how television was like in Detroit Michigan.
I don't miss having Captain planet song stuck in my fucking head.
Haa
♪Captain planet, he's our hero, gonna take pollution down to zero ♪
oh man, I wondered why some of these looked so familiar, I was 6 and in Detroit when this aired :D
13:50 SPRINKLINS WERE SO GOOD!!!!
Keep those chompers lookin' awesome!
Maze and clock not included. AND WHY THE HECK NOT?
Those WXYZ IDs are something else!
I had those exact action figures for Batman: The Animated Series. I still kick my own ass for throwing out all of my action figures that I collected throughout the 90's :(
Good call on the usage of James Horner's "Rocketeer" theme. So many trailers used that tune. Right up there with Randy Edelman's "Fire in A Brooklyn Theater" from "Come See the Paradise." Listen to that, and every '90s Suspense-Thriller TV trailer comes to mind.
+GrowinupinSincity81 There's this one too, also by Horner: ruclips.net/video/NlzkGd7qaMY/видео.htmlm8s
Maze and clock not included.
I had that Matchbox Motors for years. Loved that thing!
I am a 2000's kid but I was so close to being a 90's kid and I'm so upset cause I AM FREAKISHY OVER OBSESSED WITH THE 90'S SO MUCH I WOULD GIVE ANYTHING TO BE A 90'S KID
+Natalie Blonde Vlogs! Well at least you're still younger than us lol. But as far as tv and stuff from 2000''s it sucked.
Oh man I had that matchbox car wash as a kid
I'm curious if the spraying water gimmick sped up the rusting?
Ugh, I hate the Chuck E Cheese commercials that still used the Showbiz jingle music and motto (that had to be soon after the merger). I loved Showbiz Pizza so much as a kid, and when CEC took over it took so much of the magic away.
Chuck E. Cheese was bought by Showbiz, not the other way around. Then they rebranded the company as Chuck E. Cheese.
@@80sCommercialVault It can be easy to forget, thanks. :)
They should've went with showbiz instead of suckEcheese. Showbiz was the better quality brand.
@@SnarkyRC Especially since Showbiz had the Rockafire Explosion. CEC totally did away with them. I have fond memories of the animatronic band.
o Hw I miss da 90's
When kids actually acted like kids .... them days over now smh
kids cursing at the age of 5, shit even made me startled hearing it.
Thank you for posting this!
Those poor vultures...
woah what's up sex and the city ranch girl
DGAF tank dude I was thinking the same thing!
3:40 I think the cream of wheat people had to respond to those packaged oatmeals that had mix ins. I think when they say even raspberry jam and it has that circular swirl on the CoW it is a direct nod to it.
Ahh, the memories..... Today's kids will never know the importance of waking up at the crack of dawn on the weekends to watch the best cartoons, or growing up with product jingles that weren't just horrible bastardized covers of childhood songs.
I was born in 2003 but I just watch reruns. These new shows are crap !
I was born in '89 and I never used a typewriter either.
I had an english class in 1994 that forced us to use typewriters. That sure was a useful skill, like throwing ADHD art students into a calculus class.
I feel like I'm 15 and on summer break again. And I still think those floppy bucket hats with the big-ass flowers on them are stupid. Some things you just don't miss.
clownoldbastard I used to have a green friends bucket hat, you know the sitcom. my mom won it from a radio station but a friend lost it years later. I miss that relic
I wore stuff like that in the 90s, but lived in a really backwoods, rural area...so I got made fun of a lot for how I dressed...I still dress weird, but now people always tell me I look good...lol...whatever..... 🤷♀️
That wack ass jerssic park game lol I remember those games I miss back in the days
Tiger handheld games were total dogshit
I had one as a kid and it was completely unplayable.
14:40 "Trixie" from "Problem Child 2" (1991)?
Yeah I noticed her to I had to rewind to make sure that was her lol
Shame they cancelled Phenom.
Back off man! With that ranch bottle there isn't enough for two, just one. Sorry, but I don't share my ranch 😎
Interesting how they redid that commercial once Chuck E' Cheese merged with Showbiz. That originally started out as a Showbiz Pizza commercial. The only thing they changed was to add him saying "a mouse" instead of "a bear" and added a new scene of him walking past the CEC sign instead of the Showbiz sign. And of course that jingle started out as "show-biz-piz-a where a kid can be a kid".
Gosh, that Jurassic Park game is just like being in the movie. :P I'm glad the Game Boy came along and crushed those awful Tiger games out of existence. Maybe if the dinosaurs had been less focused on dental care they'd have noticed the comet coming to wipe them out.
+Boomska316 Unfortunately, the Game Boy did not crush these games out of existence, and had already been out for four years in '93. Tiger kept on making these horrible LCD handheld games until they were bought by Hasbro in 2000.
Really? I had no idea. Those were the games you got from parents who were too cheap to buy a Game Boy.
9:02 when I was a kid I really wanted those but my parents never got them
R.I.P James Horner(re:the Into The West spot)
kind of surprised no one's attempted a Captain Planet revival(not yet anyway)
+TTrigg Look up Don Cheadle Captain Planet. You're welcome.
Itd be too political these days. Dont want the Republicans to get triggered
13:40..... Inspiration for Jimmy Neutron?
I'm 100% sure the mom in the Corn Pops commercial is Mary Alice from Desperate Housewives. lol. She hasn't aged a bit.
+Kayla Poludniak Yep. That looks like Brenda Strong. Known to also portray as Sue Ellen Mischke on Seinfeld in a handful of episodes.
+Johnny Yuma I also realized she played the dermatologist in The Craft recently.
Kayla Poludniak I'll have to watch that since I haven't seen it yet.
I had that car wash too!
Nice not to see web addresses
or their social media names
omg i had that batman
watching in 2016
I loved Eggo Minis!
OMG My brother had the matchbox car wash
I don’t remember corn pops being shaped like that 0:15
Is there nick news anymore? The network has gotten so bad. 😭
Nick news was cancelled in 2015.
Was that Leonardo's VA in the Dominos commercial!?
Sprinklins were soo good! But dominos thin crust was some shameful shit.
i used to have the batman toy :'(
John Bunnel from Americas wildest police videos did the voice over for the batman toy commercial.
I hated nick news
0:05 the braless wonder!
Thank you! Had to scroll through comments before deciding to post this 🤣 the Oh Henry Heiress herself!
if you have 4 dollars and you ask your dad for 7 how much do you have? ,4 dollars was that supposed to be funny ? because I'm in so muck pain from that bad joke it feels like some one punched me in the kidney.
LOL the cult commercial made me cry. wtf
I was born in 2004 and I wish I was born in the 90s
Hey, that's when The Sims 2 came out! I started High School in 2005! Time is such a crazy thing!
Omg, you're young enough to be my kid lol I graduated in 2004.
Kevin Allen lmfao
Rebecca hamster same
I was born in 85 so the 90's was all my childhood.
Man I hated Pop says a kid they basically packing paper
Phenom?
