Ulfar is no Argenta, but he held his own quite well in the Doomscream fight. Also, I fully agree that those labyrinths of unremovable traps are just super-annoying and invite cheating. This one might be removable, though, I do not recall. BTW, IIRC the Toybox option "Rest all" removes all traumas just as if you returned to the ship.

Indeed he did. I believe pretty much all characters can at least do well to some degree in this game, though as we discussed before, I wouldn't pick Ulfar for my party due to him being so inconvenient to use.
A good call on the toybox function, at the time I didn't think of it but it would indeed have been a much simpler solution than what I ended up doing.
