Awww get u! You’re happiest being inspirational and creative so I say go with whatever makes you smile! I have Superdry plastered all over my cloths so ‘love’ can only be an upgrade! ❤x
Great makes! The concept of garments feeling right is really interesting! I’ve made things one year, and then the next year it’s not me any more. I think our style evolves. Thanks for encouraging me to sew swimwear - even it’s not really worked for me I enjoyed the experience!
I bet your Mother was pleased though! Maybe borrow hers style it and see if it appeals. My worry is I might feel a bit costume-y if you know what I mean, but the swoosh would be good.....Do you remember the Scottish Widows bank advert person with the hooded cape ?!
Thanks Debs. Loved this video, and how you’re personalising your makes. The blue stripey blouse is the stand out for me, but your upcycles are fab! I totally get the ‘it doesn’t feel like me vibe’, but it’s so great when you put on a finished memade and feel you’ve absolutely ‘nailed it’ in terms of how you feel in it! Last month my best make was the ByAnnie Bowl Me Over Bag - it came out just as I’d hoped! And my S8875 dress felt such an achievement after such an awful battle to tame the stretch crush velvet! Happy creating, Susan x
Thanks Susan ! Ooo I ll go and have a look at those. That stretch crush velvet often has its own plan of what's happening doesn't it! Are you on insta so I can see ?? Ooo I know that dress Lucy from Sew Essential made one didn't she? The bag pattern looks like a good one ! Thanks for watching 😊
I love your Isca shirt! I made the dress a few years ago and was gutted when I lost weight (unintentionally) and it was too big! The little details like the shoulder pieces and the angled sections on the bodice are fabulous and make it such an interesting garment to sew.
You make me want to sew the Terra pants, I think I will! Elbe textiles is one of my favorite pattern companies too. I made the Steele pinafore and am very happy with it, just need to find some wool tights or maybe over the knee socks to wear with it in the colder season.
Great video as usual. Lots of information. What I feel about Cashmerette patterns is that I’d have to make so many adjustments, I wonder if it’s worth it. Also the cup sizes are not relevant for me. Disappointing really so I’ve decided to give them a body swerve unfortunately.
Thank Jan . Did you try any of the other clubs? There are a few now aren't there. I was looking at the Closet Core one too ! I think having daughters with boobage makes it worthwhile persisting with cashmerette for me but I did a fibre mood subscription for a bit too .

Thanks Ruth, I'm with you on style evolving ! Now put some things away rather than find them new homes as I sometimes like to rediscover them!!
Lovely makes Debs, in particular the Isca shirt. I love how you styled it with your Terra pants and cross body bag, looks very sharp 😍
Thank you. Feels very 'me -like' whatever that means!
@@debsmadethis you're owning it!
@KnitStitchGrow 😁😁😁😁😂
Beautiful makes. That green dress is beautiful. Love the sleeves. Maybe a wool cloak will work with it.
Oo good idea Christine, I bought the twig and tale cloak recently and am looking out a good fabric !! (Maybe a velvet curtain?!!
@@debsmadethis I bought my mother a beautiful cape on a visit to Edinburgh. Kind of wished I bought one for me!

Wear a wool or cashmere wrap with long green dress!!!
Ooo yes good idea!

Thanks, yes it's so good isn't it !I have a summer dress version in my head but it would be good in a needlecord too maybe?

Hurray for Terra plans! Yes I wear my Steele with both😁 Have vague plans for a 'moleskin' or cord one !
I make everything in cord these days:)@@debsmadethis
Fabulous fabric.....ooo there's a vlog idea !!
I have visions of a matching waist coat to my future corduroy terra pants...maybe you have some ideas, which pattern would be nice for that?
Nice! I made the liliana by viki sews but there's a pattern scout one that looks good

@@debsmadethis no I haven’t actually. I do find it odd that they are pro curvy but the. It’s so difficult to find a reasonable fit. I’ll look around
