Thank you so so much for watching my videos and for your kind words 🥹🤎 I'll try to do a bookshelf tour more in depth at some point when they're less of a mess 🙈🫶
I read The Toy Makers last year and it was definitely much darker than i expected! I did enjoy it though and I’ll never look at a Wendy house the same now 😅. Love your vids!
I don't drink many different flavour tea , but if you'd like to try a fruit tea (you don't add milk) my favourite is Twinings Blood orange and Cranberry with juicy pomegranate. It has a really pleasant taste, I think you'd like it.💙
Ahhhh same i ALWAYS go back to the same flavors and I mean there's nothing wrong with that but I feel like trying new things out this year 😅 Ohhhh I'll definitely try this flavor I've never heard of it before 👀 Thank you so much for your recommendation 🫖🤎
I've just come back from a very busy day in London and this was a great tonic 💜 I would classify myself as a slow reader and my current goal is between 2-3 books per month to reach 25 books for the whole year. Currently on my 4th for January but sadly I might not finish it before the end of January, so I'm not sure which month to include it in as part of my reading journal 🙁
Thank you so much lovely and i hope you had a good time in London (i miss the city so much) 🤎 2-3 books per month is FAB 🙌🏼 Mmmmh 🤔 I'd say include it in the month you finish reading it ? 👀
@@stuffcelinedoes It was intense but I visited a couple of lovely bookstores which was nice ☺️ aww thank you, I have a close friend who is a ferociously quick reader and sometimes I feel inadequate, so your words mean a lot. Thank you also for the journal reading advice, I think I will follow your idea 💜
@@helenabeauchamp3841 Not gonna lie I only go for the restaurant and the bookstores 🙈 haha Oh gosh i feel that so much and yeah the want to keep up with their pace and read that much but we need to stop putting pressure on ourselves ! The only important thing is to enjoy what we read 🤎
@stuffcelinedoes I went with a friend for a gig, but the main reason I was there was the bookstores! I am getting better at not comparing myself to this friend, who just is faster at reading than me. Whilst they have done so many books in January, I still stand by the fact I have done 3 and onto my 4th, and my current is a graphic novel for a more gentle end to the month xxx
@@helenabeauchamp3841 The bookstores truly are the best there 😍 Yes exactly ! There's no point in comparing yourself, your own achievements should and are just as good ✨🤎
Woohoo...Celine's back🎉!!! I don't have anything on my tbr for this month because the exams are approaching but prob towards the half of next month, I wanna dip my toes into some YA romance (I don't read romance except in fantasy so I'm kinda terrified as well as excited) especially books by Ann Liang. I thought about reading Red Girls by Kazuki Sakuraba but I think I'll put that onto my fall tbr. Gotta be brave and face that book head on. So excited to see more of your content in the upcoming months ❤
Woop woop 🥳 (let's hope i don't slump soon now 🙈) Good luck for your exams and it'll be even more of a reward to know that once you're done with them you have a full tbr waiting for you 🥰 Ohhh those are interesting authors and i really hope you'll enjoy their work ! I haven't read anything by them but i did hear some really good things 👀 Thank you so so much lovely 🤎🤎
Hi Céline your video came just in time for dinner after a long and tiring day at the bookshop. I truly love my job but staff got so much reduced - it‘s not the same in comparison to when I started this job in 2017. Anyways, let‘s hit the books! I read Dinsdale a few years ago and I was also deeply moved by the story. I recommended it to every customer around Christmas back then 😂😂😂. My walk of shame today: so many books arrived for me today… special editions of The Language of Dragons, The Will of The Many AND the newest release by Adrienne Young. My shelves are in despair 📚📚 because uhm.. it might be possible that even more are on the way!! There are so many good releases in the first half of this year 😅. I wish we all had unlimited shelf space.
Hi lovely, thank you so much for taking the time to leave a comment 🥹🫶 Oh noooo i'm so sorry to hear it's honestly so disheartening when your workplace is declining and your doesn't feel the same anymore 😪 I really hope it gets to a better place soon 🤎 I've been hesitating to read The Toy Makers for at least a couple of years and I'm so so happy to have finally bought it 😍 I'm absolutely annotating it on a future reread ! Hahahaha 🙈 I've been doing so so good at not buying books this month ! I have the ebook of The Language of Dragons, The Will of the Many has been on my wishlist since it's available for pre-order and I'm definitely getting the the Adrienne Young but maybe for the summer ? It feels like a book I'll want to read over the summer 👀 We need a spell like in HP to make a room bigger than it actually is so that we can have endless bookshelves space 😂😂
your cat is the super cutest!!! 😍 I'm also in a need for a readathon, maybe I'll do a shorter one on the weekend. I still have to get to Normal People, maybe also this weekend. 😇 and yes the absence of quotation marks WILL bother me! 😅 only 2 stars... I'm curious how I'll like it. I'm almost done with Assassin's Apprentice (thanks to the audiobook, haha) and want to finish Sense & Sensibility until the end of the week (am 40% in). 7 or 8 read books this month is great, Celine! 🥳 I finished 8 books so far, but if I finish Assassins Apprentice by tomorrow, it will be 9 books for January. I've NEVER read that many books in my life in one month, don't ask me how I did this, cause I have no clue. 🤣 Loved this vlog as always!! Have a cozy day! 🧡
She's also the grumpiest 😂 but she has her cute moments haha Yesss you should do one and honestly with all the books that are on my february tbr i think i should redo one as well 🙈 I'm extremely curious for your thoughts because there is A LOT to discuss with those characters and topics 👀 I soooo hope that you're enjoying Assassin's Apprentice 🫶🏼 and I'll have to start Sense and Sensibility really soon but at this point it's a february problem haha Knowing that i was in a slump throughout 2024 i'm so happy with this reading month honestly ! I just hope i can keep it up consistent 🤎 OMG you did AMAZING 😍 9 books is great and i hope you finish with a (good) bang ✨ Thank you so so much dear have a fabulous day 🤎
Thank you so so much for your kind words 🤎 Ohhhh i've seen this book around so much and the cover is so pretty 😍 I'm so glad you enjoyed it and i'll go check it out 👀🤎
