- In this video, we take on the 12 and a half hour journey to Rovaniemi via the greatest train EVER! The Lapland Express is an overnight train that takes you from Helsinki to one of the northernmost cities in Finland. It's a beautiful scenic ride and the sun never set :) It wouldn't be a Jen & Drew video without something ridiculous happening. When we realized we had the wrong tickets, everything started to get a little bit confusing... Find out what happens in the video :)

@@JourneywithJenandDrew "rautatie" is literally "iron road". And in Swedish it is "järnväg" which means exactly the same :)
In the cabin there's also a wall hanger for a Wunderbaum air freshener. Brunberg in Porvoo is the oldest candy factory in Finland, founded in 1871: "Brunberg 150 years - a story of the oldest confectionery factory in Finland". Here's a good BBC documentary about Tove Jansson and the Moomins. Something to watch on a train trip, for example. It features also Porvoo, so you can say "Hey, we've been there!": "BBC Moominland Tales: The Life of Tove Jansson".

This train ride looks so cute - also you guys seemed like you handled the ticket mixup well - that would have realllly stressed me out lol.
The train employee was so kind so we weren’t too stressed!! Also it helped that Andrew was the only one who knew about the mix up when that happened 😂😂

8:44 The original name for those... balls, was Neekerin Suukkoja (Negro's Kisses) with relevant imagery on the box. It got changed into just Suukko (Kiss) a few years ago.
