I got 3 Questions left in my exam and my real estate agents brought the buyers without my approval and walked into my camera and I got kicked out from my exam! Only 3 questions left and I thought I did much better than I expected 😪
If you want to get into Governance, risk and Compliance roles or Audit roles, go for CISA, if your goal is to get solely into Security roles, then CISM. Based on your experience CISA should be preferable

Hey Mary, kindly focus more on concepts behind any QA. Also spend more time reading the question. CISA Exam question will definitely have atleast 1-2 hints in the question itself, which eventually helps to guess the right answer. Well you have MBA and if you do CISA, it will be killer combination of IT + Business. You can do it now. You will also get 3 years waiver from experience requirement.

Yes, it is fine as many people appear for the exams before experience. Freshers also get jobs without experience into IT audits. You can start working in an industry, or start off at an audit firms in India where there are lots of opportunities in Bank system audits.

Yes and if you have also got role of looking at IT controls, then fully counted. Otherwise 3 years exemption available out of 5
