    Someone asked me which Laws I was mentioning in the example.
    See, my main intention was to let you know that Laws & Regulation Option has got more importance in exams as most of the times that would be an answer. I was mentioning about all Data Security, Privacy and even corporate governance laws.

    Hi, I am in 3rd year of B.tech CSE and will probably sit sit for placements in next few months but I don't want to go for SDE roles, how can I transfer myself to cyber-security domain, and does getting a CISA certification or any certification is possible at this stage for me and will they add value to my career in such early stage .

I got 3 Questions left in my exam and my real estate agents brought the buyers without my approval and walked into my camera and I got kicked out from my exam! Only 3 questions left and I thought I did much better than I expected 😪

      If you want to get into Governance, risk and Compliance roles or Audit roles, go for CISA, if your goal is to get solely into Security roles, then CISM. Based on your experience CISA should be preferable

    I am a CA with experience if audit only in articleship. I have 2.5 years of post qualification experience which is not audit. I want to change my field will CISA will be beneficial for me.

      Yes you can very well do CISA and get into IT Audits without any prior experience, infact majority of our students are CA/ACCA/CPA etc without IT Audit experience and they get jobs easily after that.

    I have total of 20 years of experience where 17 years in IT and as UNIX administrator….. will I be eligible for CISA?

      Yes definitely you are. You need experience in any one of the 5 Domains of CISA, and Audit is just one of the domains, there are other Domains as well like IT operations, resiliency, security, project management, GRC etc

    Will be having my 2nd attempt in the next 7 days. Still doubtful I will pass this time around bcoz still I do not have enough preparations :( Any piece of advice, materials to read or videos to watch? During my 1st attempt I scored 438 having had only 2weeks prep.

      Hey Mary, kindly focus more on concepts behind any QA. Also spend more time reading the question. CISA Exam question will definitely have atleast 1-2 hints in the question itself, which eventually helps to guess the right answer.       Well you have MBA and if you do CISA, it will be killer combination of IT + Business. You can do it now. You will also get 3 years waiver from experience requirement.

      @@km-cw5pz You can show as if you were working in Audit & Assurance (even if non IT), In that case 3 Years Waiver, however if you are purely into management side, then 2 years waiver.

    Is 3 years of experience in internal audit post qualification counted for the 5 years experience ?

      Yes and if you have also got role of looking at IT controls, then fully counted. Otherwise 3 years exemption available out of 5

    Hi, thanks for the video. My question is after applying all possible waivers for 5 year audit experience, I still need to have 2 years of audit related experience to get certified which I do not have. What options do I have ?

      Yes, it is fine as many people appear for the exams before experience. Freshers also get jobs without experience into IT audits. You can start working in an industry, or start off at an audit firms in India where there are lots of opportunities in Bank system audits.

      Currently this is the only course where people from MBA Field , Arts Background, commerce background infact 70-80 % of people are currently pursuing CISA are from Finance Background, Accounts Background or Audit Background so you dont have to worry.People gets job easily & demand for CISA is high in the market & supply is less.Even you may easily get opportunities in Big 4s
      CISA is basically bridge mix of IT & business so its a bridge and thats the reason people from different background are joining CISA So you are one step ahead from getting CISA certified.I will share you all details to how to crack CISA in first attempt

      Can you please elaborate the Risk consulting profile? Because graduation + articleship alone gives 3 years of exemption. But in your case, risk consulting may help you.
