My tita is a really good friend of her. And for the haters here She is only fluent in bisaya and English. Marunong syang magtagalog well we bisayas can mix up tagalog bisaya and english but she stayed in states more than she stayed here. So please stop criticizing her. Thankyou
Why does it bother people that she is speaking in English? I’ve been a US immigrant for over 40 yrs and married to an American. Although I still speak and understand Tagalog, I am more comfortable speaking in English after many years of living in the US. I seldom speak Tagalog in my day to day life here as my children, grandchildren, spouse, nieces and nephews (all American born), friends and co workers speaks only English. The few times I visited the Phils., I try to certainly speak Tagalog but I find myself talking in English when I know I’m conversing with people who clearly speaks and understand English. I believe this lady was also married to an American and in all likelihood her children had English as their first language. I notice that Filipinos who makes comments on YT does it in a very short sighted way. Instead of focusing on the contents of the story I’ve read criticism that people are fat, phony, etc. Sad...
EL-PAULO she is more comfortable in English over Tagalog because she is from Bohol. We Bisaya find it easier to speak English than Tagalog and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that.
True I'm an Ilonggo. Tagalog to me is just another language just the same as English. Filipinos are being taught at school of the same languages. Now, it all comes down to what language are you comfortable to use, perhaps because you are a broad and living with that language. Especially she is in an open media interview here, it's great it can be understood by everyone. So what's the problem?

@@IlocanainGermany Subukan mong mag German. If you are comfortable with that language but...I hope maintindihan ka ng kausap mo. Pag hindi, may problema. hahaha
You should learn that some, if not most Bisaya speakers don't know how to speak Tagalog well and use the English language instead to converse because it's easier for them.
Hey stupid, ayaw pagbuot. Obviously she's more comfortable speaking in English like most Bisaya because Tagalog is not her native or secondary language. Kalipay nimo mag Tagalog unya bako2x paminawon? Typical nitpicking crab.

Pretty common with some, if not most Bisaya speakers. They don't converse in Tagalog well but they're more comfortable in speaking in English.
