i have exactly the same guitar, it's fantastic for the price with a thin speed neck and stay tuned. The bridge have so many possibilities even without the tremolo bar. My guitar is made with mahogany body (older version) & powersound pickups and it's a bit heavier than expecting..
@@The_Guitarshop You're welcome. In terms of playability, this really is a very good guitar. It is light as a feather, and the neck and frets are (on mine) could hardly be better.
Hi Radish! Of course for this price it won’t be as stable as an expensive Fender or Suhr guitar. However this model stayed in tune perfectly during our testing, it varies between specific models, but generally does a fine job of staying in tune 👍🏻
I got one VERY cheap and nearly never played. I lubricated the nut slots and it stays in tune much better. The bridge HB is just OK and a used good one that matches it is a better choice (2-wire). The tuners all have the twin short posts on the rear side like Fenders do ... So they may be similar to Jin-Ho brand from S. Korea.
Tuners are very rare the culprit for going out of tune. It's more the friction of the strings with parts in contact, and the friction of other moving parts. Always tune UP to pitch! Never down! So the tension is maintained. If you tune down, the string tension will losen soon, as much as the play in the gear of cheap tuners. On the tuner knobs there are the little screws to tighten. Not with too much force! It increases the friction on the tuners for more turning resistance and therefor better stability. Then lubricate the nut slots, the contact of the strings on the saddles, the trem posts, on the back the claw where the springs are hooked on. Use the trem excessivelly at the beginning, till all parts settle and grind in place.
The action is decent, not very low, i have had this guitar for 10 years and unless u take literal weeks to balance the floating trem ur gonna have a normal string height. U can get it very low but u will get fret buzz as soon as some minor part changes place. If u want string stability dont get a floating trem.
@@Izmy-nm8hp my take is that Indonesia - made guitars (CORT makes nearly all the Indonesian ones) is the better choice. China-made guitars tend to be poorer woods and not as well-made nor as good a hardware choice as Indonesia. And China is a communist dictatorship and they really want those US dollars!

A good review in that it covers what you need to know. If I didn't own this guitar, I would be happy to buy it on the basis of the review.
Well thank you very much!

@@jonathannewby5795 how was the action when you bought it
@@humanchannel7825 Mine was normal, I kinda hate it because i would ahve preffered lower.
Do a Luthiers Knot on Tuning Pegs so the string is anchored . Also stretch the strings when putting on new . This should fix Tuning .
I need only to wait 1 or 2 more days to have one.
Enjoy when it arrives!
I just bought the black one!
Is it good to play arctic monkeys (first 2 albums) type of songs?
I bought a Ibanez GSA60QA Gio Series S shape QM transparant blue burst LTD ED. What is the difference??
Nice tones there!!! I love Okoume, it sounds tighter than mahogany.
Does this guitar have problems with going out of tune?

I have this guitar. It goes out of tune very easy. Good sound tho.
the weight in Kg/ Lbs ? 05:02
is it neck-dive ?
Mine is 3.1 kg with Okoume body
@@lone-wolf-1 Do you experience any sort of neck-dive/ neck-heavy when you playing the guitar?
@@immanuelsiregar7395 No neck-dive. It‘s very well balanced playing standing or on the lap.
@@lone-wolf-1 Thank you. I appreciate it.
Would replacing the tuners (or anything particular) help reduce the frequency of the guitar going out of tune?

A locking nut and changing the tremolo for a floid rose would help but not a lot. I have had this guitar for 10 years and tunning sucks ass.

is it good for indie
Not really. I would rather recommend a Squier Jazzmaster.....!
u can get most sounds out of it but if ur looking for that funky tone a squire would be better.
Ibanez say , midle freats ?
I'd be interested to know what the action is like on it?
Very low

Can I change the pickups to get that bee sound out of the Ibanez? the guitar looks very good.
This or Yamaha Pacifica 112m is a better buy?
Go for ibanez
Go absolutely for Yamaha pacifica
I ahve had this guitar for 10 years and a pacifica sounds 4 times better.
